During this time, I used it to cut inlays, slots and mortises on pine and cherry wood. It performed beautifully, producing clean, chip‑free cuts on both softwood and hardwood. Over time, the durability was excellent; after five projects it still cuts like new. I bought a 1/4" and a 1/8" down cut The 1/4" preformed flawlessly, but the 1/8" broke halfway my project (Shopbot 1/4" MDF, 1/8" cut, 1 IPS). I replaced it and it cut the 2nd half without problems. Not sure what happened. I don't think I hit anything non-wood, but can't be sure.

SpeTool has been my go to store for all cnc router bits. This one is one of my main bits I use and I feel I get a longer life with it. I mostly cut 1/4 plywood and the tip stay sharp after hours and hours of cutting.
