I could not be happier with these boots. They are true-to-size and extremely comfortable, with a little arch support (not enough for my high arches, but more than most) and a nice supportive but forgiving insole. They are roomy enough to slip on with ease when unzipped, even with fairly thick winter socks, but not so much that your boot fills with cold air, so they are also warm enough... at least they are for the coldest days of relatively mild California winters. They required no wearing-in, and in the couple of months since I bought them, have never rubbed on any spot on my very average shaped/sized feet. Would definitely recommend these. ... show more

I had occasion to wear these boots about half an hour after they arrived and they were comfortable and kept my feet completely dry. I bought them in my regular size and wear them with thin socks, which will work fine for me even in winter in my area of Northern California. If you’ll need to wear heavier socks, I’d go up a half size. Since these boots zip on the side they don’t need to be tied (a royal pain with regular duck boots) and are relatively easy to get on and off. ... show more

They come with the laces spiraled but they were too loose that way so I tied the laces. The second time I wore them the left boot lace broke. The third time I wore them the right boot lace broke. I was able to adjust the laces and still wear them but the next time I wore them it broke again and was too short to adjust. I love the boots but am very surprised at the quality of the laces. I didn’t pull that hard on them, they snapped easily. I guess they are intended to just be decorative and spiraled and not actually used to tie the boots. ... show more

I’d bought a pair of these years ago from a high end retail shop to find that Amazon had a much better deal! Sperrys are the best! Stays dry and has perfect insulation. Also these aren’t bulky and clunky. They’re good for snow/sleet and of course rain. My only issue with them is that wearing them all day makes the feet smell so I have to limit to only wear when in transit. Also fits as expected. ... show more
