I've been looking at Chelsea boots for a long time, but was always afraid I'd have a problem getting them on and off because I've got a high instep and bigger feet, so shoe shopping can be hit or miss. I bought another pair of Blowfish boots (western booty style) because of the zippers, and they fit perfectly, so when I saw these, I had to get them. The double zippers make it so nothing rubs along the back of your foot, yet they're so cozy and almost customizable if you have thicker ankles or socks, etc. The sock-like area at the top is comfortable yet not flimsy at all. I have been looking for a replacement for my Blowfish Malibu above-the-ankle boots that I have had for about 3 years. (Don’t know the model/name of those). I was delighted to find this slightly different model on Amazon. However, since I have very wide feet, the almond toe on this model pinches my toes. I hope they stretch out, as my original ones did. I love that these have a double zipper on the back so you don't have the awkward pull on/ tug off. They are significantly lighter weight than I thought they would be, and I'm very please with the material on the upper. I have a little bit wider foot and these are perfectly comfortable.

Bought these boots to wear on a trip to a cold climate. I was pleasantly surprised at just how comfortable they are. They have a chunky look without being overly “clompy” looking. I have big feet (size 10) and don’t want to make my feet look bigger. I also have back , knee and foot issues and these were supportive without hurting my back, knees or feet.
