The sizing seems a little loose. I ordered a size 9 and it seems like they anticipate you wearing extra socks. Not a bad thing because the toe box feels perfect for my feet. The nice thing about the fit is they are not too tight anywhere and if I want to wear an extra layer of socks I can without worrying that it will be too snug. The Mucks feel comfortable and I can see walking around in them all day with no worries. They're not stiff and flex well where needed. They aren't heavy or feel like weights on my feet, they feel like normal boots. I like them a LOT! A counterpoint because I got a different brand so I can keep the ones that work and fit best for my needs- which is to be able to slog through the wet and muddy stuff as I take photos. The Tidwe boots have a tighter fit around arch. The toe box seems much more snug, but the heel is very loose. ... show more

I almost didn't buy these because they didn't have a wide option. I normally wearing a 10.5/11 wide depending on the boot. Used the "Prime Try Before You Buy" just to try them on. They are $40 cheaper at Bass Pro right now so I figured once I knew my size (if they were wide enough) I would buy them at the better price....That's where things went bad. I began wearing my comfortable new boots around the house. Why not? They havent been outside yet and heck I am sending them back in a few days to save $40, remember? A few days go by. I'm still casually wearing the boots throughout the house. I can barely even hear my wife complaining about me wearing them inside because I'm so content in these frickin boots. Long story short I kept the boots, ate the $40 and I wore them out to the marsh yesterday so now they don't make it any further than the mud room. These are probably the most comfortable boot other than Red Wings I have ever owned. If they fail to hold up over the winter, I will update this review. These are nice waterproof wading boots for launching and loading my small fishing boat. Neoprene tops are flexible and comfortable, also fold down to normal boot height if desired. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish they were a few inches taller, suitable for slightly deeper water. Also, I originally tried size 9, the same as my shoe size. These felt good but were hard to get on and off, something that's important to me. Exchanged for size 10 which go on and off easily - they're slightly big for my feet, but still secure and safe for walking. A good compromise. ... show more

This is my first pair of Muck boots, and overall I'm a fan. I have a bit more heel sleep than I would like which can get uncomfortable on long walks, but I wonder if I should have gone down a size. Other than that they keep my feet dry, and as far as "rubber" boots go are comfortable. The roll down uppers are a nice touch in the warmer months when I am just dealing with mud underfoot. ... show more
