Bought this for my 3.5 year old that was getting closer to swimming on his own. He wanted to copy his sister, so wanted to swim in the deep end of the pool and jump off a diving board. This helped me to know he was safe from suddenly going under, but allowed him to move his arms freely instead of the "puddle jumpers." He ended up only using it for about 2 weeks before he was swimming across the pool. I really think this style is 100x better than the arm band styles (it is NOT a life jacket). Only thing to note is that he had to have his long sleeve rash guard on under it to avoid rubbing and sore spots. He was on the line between sizes and we went with the large and it fit him well. I bought this for my one year old as we have a long Mediterranean summer vacation, and i am so glad i did. She never complained while she wore this and it’s pretty practical for us parents to put it on her. It fits loosely but it has a safety belt vertically too, so you don’t have to worry if the baby is gonna slip under. The size was too small for us. Medium thickness. I felt like I would try anyway. Because maybe it would still work. They stated they were uncomfortable. Still very cute. I would try again with bigger sizes. Quality good. The size chart does not list good sizes and who would fit.

Got this for my 4 year old son for the pool. I liked that it was less bulky compared to others. I don’t think it’s coast guard approved but it worked well for us, we were next to our son the entire time in the pool. He liked it also and felt comfortable in it without feeling overwhelmed by it

We were looking for something that would help our 2.5 year old while learning to swim- this was perfect. It provided enough buoyancy for him to feel safe but still allowed him to move his arms and learn to swim. We preferred this to a puddle jumper. It held up very well to chlorine and sun.
