I am a grown woman and I think this mask might not fit around a man's head, but it was fine for me. I took these on a cruise and used them three times. The mask didn't fog up until after a half hour or 45 minutes and even then not completely. The snorkel was tall enough even in the rolling swells. I didn't dive down with them much, as I spend most of my time floating on the surface, but I think I could clear the snorkel if it had a bunch of water in it. The mask fit snug and it was a great set for the price. The "quick adjustment" or whatever they call it, isn't quick or easy, but once you fit the mask on your head, you don't need to readjust it, so no big deal. Just put the strap on the back of your head and stretch it forward over your nose and eyes. ... show more

The mask was great. It took quite a few uses before I finally needed to use additional defog so the coating it came with was pretty effective. The sizing was good for me but I have a pretty small head. The nose flooded very very slightly often but it didn't bother me at all. Will definitely buy this mask again in the future. The snorkel is a different story. The clip is the best clip I've used (honestly, I wish they all had these kind of clips) but the snorkel itself never seemed to clear all the way no matter how hard I blew into it. Often I would have to twist the mouthpiece to get water out. I got used to it but it wasn't comfortable. Slightly unnerving to constantly gurgle when you breathed in. I ended up borrowing a dry top snorkel that, while bulky, worked better than this one and actually cleared when I wanted it to. ... show more

I took my kids to the Keys and these worked great!!! They fit well, the snorkel attaches to the goggles to keep it upright (yeah...I kept holding/adjusting mine until my 8 yr old told me I was doing it wrong, lol) and stays put while swimming. Without the goggles, the salt water was very strong and burned our eyes (even when closed), but with theses on there were no leaks and we could see everything clearly. Worth buying over the cheap ones found in the seasonal section at the department stores, even if only used for a short time! ... show more

Twice I’ve tried adjusting the snorkel & as noted in at least one other review, the snorkel tube takes on water. IMHO I think it is too short & angled wrong. I also don’t care fot the ‘over the head’ mask design. Despite loosening the band it pulls on my bathing cao. I had better luck with the $10 set I had bought on the beach in PR. ... show more

    • A good mask and snorkel for lap swimming

I am very pleased with this mask and snorkel set. I use it 5x a week at the pool exclusively for lap swimming. Initially, I considered a center snorkel specific for lap swimming, but this mask and snorkel set works fine for me and at a savings. Living in Hawai'i, I've owned at least 1/2 dozen masks and snorkels through the years, and I've learned that you should test the mask to insure a good fit and a good seal before purchasing it. And, if possible, you should try the snorkel, as well, for fit and comfort otherwise your jaw will fatigue quickly. Yes, this makes the online shopping experience for a mask and snorkel a hit or miss thing. Fortunate for me, this mask and snorkel fits fine and is comfortable; the silicone seal and mouthpiece is soft and comfortable. The snorkel has a purge valve for water that gets into the tube; it is very easy to clear it of water. Over the years, I've thrown away masks that have discolored, hardened, and become brittle from my lack of care as well as exposure to unnecessary heat and sun/UV exposure. I, now, make it a practice after every swim session to rinse, dry and properly store my equipment out of the sun; I'm hoping a little TLC will protect the silicone and plastic from degrading prematurely, and will extend the service life of the mask and snorkel. ... show more

I purchased 2 sets for a trip to Hawaii and they worked very well! We did not have any issues with sizing, breakage, leaking, or fogging at all. We used these almost every day of our trip for hours at a time and still did not face any problems. If adjusted correctly, the mask fits nice and snug.
