This thing blows everything Lowes sells out of the water when it come to getting clothes clean and washed fast. I’ve been through so many washers from Lowe’s that it was ridiculous. Speed Queen might be a little higher but worth it. They don’t make huge drums where you can destroy your washing machine , just one size tub. Stay away from all of the horns and whistles of new machines, that’s more things that will go out. I ordered mine with knobs instead of buttons. First attempt to deliver drive knocked and left before I could answer the door .2 day's later they deliver it the packaging was in good shape. However the washer was damaged. It been 3 weeks I still don't have a washer. I returned it .

Can't go wrong with Speed Queen! This is a superb, hardy manufactured machine. Clothes come out super clean! This is a must since the family does construction and farming. Runs very quiet and easy to use. Everything from delicate to super wash. Stainless steel tub. This is a beast! Great value for the price! Will last for years!     • Rust!!
Have had the predecessor to this for over 5 years. Like just about everything about this machine EXCEPT the top rusts! Right where the instructions tell you to put the bleach - using it the way they tell you to! The bleach causes the paint to fail! Small amount of rust showed up around the plastic bleach pour spout just under two years of having the machine. Now, 5+ years into it, there is a LOT of rust around the bleach pour spout. And since the warranty has now expired (I know - my fault for letting it ride so long), will have to buy replacement top. Which will do the same thing after a couple years unless they have started making them out of stainless! Lol... Not sure what I will do at this point, since Whirlpool/Maytag/etc have become even worse, but may have to take apart and see if can get it hot dip galvanized or something...? Is there a stainless steel plating process out there?? ... show more

    • I have received the washer
I received this machine earlier this month, actually a few days early which was great. The machine is wonderful and gets the clothes very clean. It is very easy to operate. I understand these are very good machines and I probably won't have to buy another for 20 years.

    • Frustrating
It washes great however the lid lock is extremely finicky. As I am typing this review my clothes are locked inside the washer. Perhaps I got a lemon? I have followed all the troubleshooting steps and it won’t unlock. If the kids try to open the lid or if accidentally tapped the washer during the wash cycle it will stop washing and the lid lock stays on. It costs way too much money to be dealing with this issue. Please help! What can I do to solve this issue? ... show more
