The media could not be loaded. I picked up this little guardian bell as a gift, and I have to say it feels more special in person than I expected from the pictures. It’s much smaller than I imagined, but that actually makes it more versatile. At about an inch wide and just under an inch and a half tall, it’s the perfect size for a motorcycle, keychain, or even a backpack. I’ve also seen people put these on their pets’ collars, and I can understand why. The small size makes it subtle but still noticeable when it rings. The story behind these bells is what makes them so meaningful. Riders have long believed that motorcycle bells help ward off bad luck and keep the road a little safer. Whether or not someone fully believes in the tradition, it still makes a great gift because of the thought behind it. I gave this one to my brother, who’s been riding for years, and he appreciated the meaning as much as the design. He said he likes having something small to remind him that someone’s looking out for him when he’s on the road. It has good quality and it’s made from metal that feels solid and sturdy in the hand without being heavy. The finish looks nice and polished, and the guardian angel design is detailed enough to stand out without looking cheap. The sound of the bell is also worth mentioning, it’s clear and pleasant, not tinny or muffled. It’s the kind of little chime you can actually hear when the bike moves, and it adds to the charm. Since it’s metal, it feels like it will hold up well against weather and daily use. My brother keeps his on the lower part of his motorcycle, and even after a few weeks it hasn’t shown signs of rust or wear. I attached one temporarily to my backpack just to test it out, and it felt secure and durable there too. I will update if it get rusted. What I like most is how versatile it is. While the main tradition is for bikers, it really works anywhere. As a keychain charm, it’s a nice conversation piece, and for pets it doubles as both a protective symbol and a way to keep track of where they are. The size makes it easy to carry without getting in the way. For the price, it’s a small accessory with a lot of thought and meaning behind it. Whether it’s for a biker, a loved one, or even for yourself, it’s the kind of charm that feels personal while also being practical.

I've always said that motorcycle people, especially Harley riders, are incredibly easy to shop for, but I'd never before seen nor heard of these bells. The one I got is the "motorcycle wings," which measures 1 3/8 inches and produces a lovely, bright and clear tone. Since ordering this one, I've noticed there are a LOT more of these guardian bells out there for sale with all different kinds of images in the castings. Wouldn't it be fun to collect them! In the product details, they say, "The bell rang loudly and cheerfully, its crisp sound accompanying the rider, making him feel happy during the cycling journey." Seriously? That seems funny to me, because it would easily take about a million of these little bells to be heard above the roar of a Harley engine! Perhaps demons have exceptionally sensitive and selective hearing to be able to hear this tiny bell on a motorcycle and be driven away by it. Here's hoping! FYI: I read elsewhere that a legend says that on a motorcycle, the closer you can get the bell to the ground, the more effective it is at warding off evil spirits "by driving them crazy." That said, the accompanying powder-coated bell hangers are meant to be attached to the motorcycle, as low to the ground as possible, by removing any available bolt on the lower part of the bike and using it to attach the bell hanger.

Overall impression: This item is a very small bell with a design embellishment attached to a keyring. It is a functional bell with a tiny striker that doesn't make an overbearing sound. It comes with an oblong item that has a hole on either end, but I don't know what it is or what it's for. The bell itself is suitable for a medium to large pet collar. These are charming little guardian bells. As the story goes the bell traps any road demons inside it and the ringing of the bell drives them crazy. They then fall to the ground and shatter into pieces. You can find plenty of these types of bells and this variant was perfectly fine. The variation mostly comes in the designs that appeal to you. I got the one with the cross and I like it. If you purchase this for a biker in your life they will be sure to appreciate it and know that you are thinking of them and wishing them a good, safe ride.

We got this for my daughter because she and my husband ride dirt bikes together, and it’s honestly such a nice touch. The quality is really good, it feels solid and not cheap at all. The detail on the bell looks great in person and it has a nice little ring to it. It comes with everything you need to hang it and looks perfect on her bike. For the price you really can’t beat it, it makes a great small gift or good luck charm for any rider.
