  • Spectra Premium Radiator for Jeep JK
The radiator was delivered sooner than expected. It was easy to install and came with the rubber mounting pieces attached. Other products required you to reuse the rubber mounts. It looks just like the original radiator and i would recommend to anybody who needs a replacement radiator. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a detailed installation sheet, but i looked it up on You Tube and found good instructions on how to remove and install the radiator. However even with the video it failed to note on the 2007 Jeep JK. The driver side has a screw that helps hold the air conditioning condenser to the side of the radiator. Its near the horn and can be removed carefully if you pull the radiator out some. In all it took me about 3 hours to complete including breaks for snacks. My original OEM radiator developed a crack at the top of the driver side where it's glued together. I looked into a repair kit for this but due to the fact you need to remove it and carefully prep the area. Too much work for a possible fix so just replace it. If you have any mechanical ability it should be no problem to do. My Jeep is a stick shift so I don't know it automatics have a connection to the radiator like the good old days. It came well packaged and covers on the 3 openings to keep out trash. Happy so far. Oh I installed it November 28 2013 and no problems so far.. ... show more

  • Piece of junk. Do not buy.
Defective junk... Installed and followed the directions meticulously. Replaced the entire cooling system and flushed the entire system with distilled water. Then filled with new mopar coolant and distilled water. Lasted only 7 months and blew a hole in the coils. It now appears that there is no way to even return it for an exchange or refund. Contacted Amazon and got nothing. What a Waste of $150! Never buying essential parts like this from Amazon again! ... show more

  • Jeep Wrangler - Spectra Radiator
Received in good condition, installed radiator on the evening of Aug. 15th, 2018...complete flush of system with all new coolant no leaks or issues for a total of 8 days...Radiator has a bigger hole or crack in it then the original that had 146000 miles on it. I will not install again, returning for refund. Difficultly of getting too the bolts on the Jeep is not worth installing another inexpensive cheap radiator, not to mention the coolant cost to fill the system is not cheap either. Waste of money all the way around. I will be installing an all aluminum replacement this time. ... show more

  • If you have the budget it would be best to upgrade to a full aluminum aftermarket radiator and ...
After I had the vehicle apart late at night I discovered one of the mounting tabs on the plastic tank was cracked. I had no choice but to install it. Thankfully it is secure with three of the four mount points. I should have listened to other buyers who commented how this radiator is shipped in marginal packaging. If you have the budget it would be best to upgrade to a full aluminum aftermarket radiator and eliminate these plastic tanks altogether. Word of caution about the JEEP JK: the A/C condenser is mounted directly to the plastic tanks and the bolts are difficult to reach behind the core support. Give yourself extra time for this job. ... show more

  • Five Stars
Direct Fit. In and out. Didn't quite last a year (actually 10 months) and it was leaking and needed to be replaced again. If you're keeping your vehicle this is NOT for you. If you need a cheap & quick fix for selling your vehicle, this one IS for you.

  • Works great in my 2014 JKU
Works great in my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Replaced factory radiator after oil cooling unit leaked oil internally into the coolant system.

If you have some mechanical know how, you can DIY a radiator replacement. This radiator is an excellent fit for my 2012 JK. No issues, no worries. 2 months later it’s working as expected.
