2005 Infiniti G35 Sedan Automatic. The top mounting posts are not the same size as the OEM radiator that it's replacing. When I tried to move the rubber mounting bushings from existing radiator to the Spectra, they wouldn't fit properly It's difficult to drill out or grind the bushings to a larger diameter because of the material they're made from. I had to omit the bushings for now, so that will cause the radiator to be improperly mounted until I find a mounting bushing that fits properly. Also, it seems a little "off" somewhere. It doesn't seem to line up properly the way the old one did. It appears that it will work, but it's not quite the bargain it appeared to be.

I had a failed engine thermostat on my 2005 infiniti G35 coupe (with automatic transmission), which managed to take out the OEM radiator with it. I've heard that the radiator through the dealership is something outrageous like $750!? For about 1/2 the cost, I could get a full aluminum radiator, so an OEM one was out of the question. After poking around online I found that Spectra Premium is actually a Canadian company. I didn't feel like rolling the dice on QA with a China radiator, and heard that these are decent radiators at a good price. After ordering the radiator overnight with Amazon Prime, I inspected the Fedex box to find that the radiator was in flawless condition and looked and felt nearly identical to my OEM radiator. I installed it later that day, making sure to take off the small rubber grommets on the stock radiator for the bottom mounting holes and for the top grommets for the radiator mount locks. Now for the hiccup. The only difference I noticed in the radiator was that the front mounting slits where the A/C condenser sits appeared slightly thinner than the OEM radiator. If I had to guess, probably 1/16th of an inch smaller. That turned out to be enough to have a problem fitting in the A/C condenser mounts. So with that, the back-and-forth of removing and (carefully) trimming some plastic with a utility knife, and trying again began. That was a bit of a pain, but worth saving the $600 from the dealership's radiator pricing, and worth saving $75 from buying it in a store near me. All and all, everything worked fine, the mounting holes matched up, and the radiator performs beautifully. Because these cars tend to get gunk and debris stuck in between the condenser and the radiator, you can end up with much less cooling power during the summer months than was engineered into the car if your radiator is clogged up. With the new radiator, I sat in an In-n-Out drive through for nearly 30 minutes in 96 degree weather with A/C near full and never saw the temperature creep up in the slightest bit. That's a big win for me. Also no leaking and no problems so far. I'd fully recommend this radiator. If there becomes issues in the future, I'll update my review but so far so good.

I've been running this new radiator for about a week with no issues after having replaced the 11 year old original. For the $ it's a great value and no issues so far. To reiterate another review's feedback below. I read this prior to purchasing and made the adjustment in about 5 minutes. "Now for the hiccup. This aftermarket item is a very close match to the OEM radiator. The fitment is great except for one thing - The top two plastic installation point on the ends were indeed thicker in diameter than the original as another reviewer had mentioned. I was able to put one of the rubber cushion rings from my original radiator (because you are not given a set from Spectra) with a help of few drops of oil and a rubber mallet. The second one split while I was using my mallet but it was still secure enough to be used without any deficiency. The bottom two plastic installation points were slightly thinner than my originals but I was able to use some tape to adjust the thickness. Overall I would still recommend since everything else was very good and the price was competitive. Not sure about the long-term durability since only time will tell but I think it should be okay since there have been many reviewers before me and they have like this item as well.

Close to direct replacement for my 2006 Infiniti G35 sedan. Made minor mod to lower tabs. It probably fit, albeit a lil tight without mod. Everything else fit nicely. Works great after install, check YouTube for step by step instructions. Good price. It didn't get 5 stars because the manufacturer sent totally wrong radiator, I had to call Amazon and request then to resend the correct one. Thanks to Amazon assistance, I get the replacement in reasonable time. But did leave me longer without a car.

I've been very pleased with the Spectra Radiator. Admittedly, I wasn't sure if going with a non-OEM radiator would be a smart choice; but I can say 19 months later that it has held up without issue. It was a direct replacement for the OEM - no fitment issues at all. I feel confident recommending this product to anyone else with a G35.
