I purchased this for my son (13) during Christmas. we have only used a few times but each time has been a blast. This is his first drone and he is getting used to it and beginning to be more daring with distance and height. A couple times he had lost connection but was able to run down the street and reconnect. I had an issue with trying to connect and fly the drone after a long period of no use and contacted support. They replied within a few hours with instructions on how to 'fix" the error. Just needed to recalibrate the drone. ONce I did that the drone was up and flying again. I would have NO HESITATION in purchasing any other drone opr product from this company again just because I know that they are here to support you no matter the circumstance.     • This is a sleeper drone for the money
I’ve had the drone for close to a year to all the people saying buy a DJI it is one. It’s literally a generic brand of theirs comes off the same as assembly line, but it’s cheaper because it doesn’t have that name. It’s the same drone down to even a user interface as for the morons saying that their DJI batteries don’t work in it. That’s because it’s called a software lock and if you actually knew stuff about electronics, you might know that, and as for the charging part, we have to charge the battery in the drone. That is a minor inconvenience considering you are saving hundreds of dollars usually over buying one that is the full brand name and as for not finding batteries it’s very simple it’s called you sign up for email alert through your Amazon account and usually they’re back in stock every so often but hey, don’t use all your brain cells and just complain. I give this drone five stars. I’ve had no problems with it does what I needed to do films actual 4K video to the point that I can make a YouTube channel with it. ... show more

    • great drone but lack of batteries concerning
First off: the drone is great. performance is good, video quality is great. Battery life is about 20 minutes. Customer service has been responsive. From the time I ordered it, shipping took just about a week from Malaysia with DHL. I've flown a mavic mini and a phantom 4. Flight stability and video quality on the Specta mini are better. Even though the Phantom 4 is also 4k, there is like motion artifacts in the video. The Specta quality is much better. Not a surprise as the Phantom is 8 years old. The Specta is also much more stable when hovering. I have about 5 hours total on the drone (that's about 15 times charging the battery) The battery charges in about 90 minutes. So fly for 15-20 minutes, wait 90 while the battery charges. The biggest thing right now is that it seems like Specta products are disappearing quickly. When I first ordered my drone, the batteries just showed "out of stock". Specta assured me that they are working on getting them back in stock. Now they show unavailable. Props are unavailable. The drone is firmware locked to Specta batteries. So while it flies well, takes great video/photos, I'm stuck with a single battery. If you are thinking about ordering, carefully decide if a single battery is enough for you for the foreseeable future. maybe Specta will release a firmware update to allow other batteries. (I'm not going to hold my breath though) ... show more
