Outstanding drone with very clear camera. Nice 4x zoom and easy to fly. I own 4 drones and this is my favorite to fly. When thereβs a concert or monster trucks down at the fairground, I send it up and watch the event. The only complaint I have about this drone is that the battery has to be in the drone in order for you to charge it, none of my other drones are like that- meaning you can charge the battery solo on others but NOT this one. If it comes with a charging block or gives you that option, I highly recommend buying that.

I would do far meaning a full week have had a chance to prove that this things actually exceeds its own specs ! You name it of course the distance so far was 12000 ft .in unubstruct area. Battery so far as expected and camera better than the rest meaning potensic se and atom for me anyway a little smaller but the speed I had was right there behind potensic se 35.6 let's call it 36 mph app and everything is really in my opinion better than potensic drones which I had and. Enjoyed but customer service and fly aways F$$$$that buy this you won't be disappointed I assure you ...also quieter than potensic..ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»good job specta so far met and surpassed the specs provided in certain areas that I've noted

Specta/Cogito does not appear to be selling drones in the US market currently. This is an issue with smaller drone manufacturers, including ODM (original design manufacturer) drones. If bought as a one and done type of purchase with no future service, it's not an issue. The Specta Mini is made on the same factory lines in Malaysia as the DJI Mini 4k. Functionally, it is nearly identical, including the controller. Even the app is very close in function to DJI Fly. The main issue: the smart battery system is only compatible with Specta/Cogito smart batteries at $55 a piece. Buy a DJI Mini 4k Fly More on sale and it may end up costing less if buying extra batteries for the Specta. Batteries were not available for months; they appear to be available currently. When there is only one source of batteries, and they have spotty availability, this is a difficulty for anyone planning on doing heavier flying. Other issues: support is not DJI level. Firmware update attempts resulted in server offline messages, but the factory firmware functions fine as shipped, just don't expect any hot fixes or updates. Flies like the DJI Mini 4k, app works like DJI Fly, minus the online community, messages, map updates, online connectivity, etc. which may be a pro rather than a con depending upon the user.

I purchased this for my son (13) during Christmas. we have only used a few times but each time has been a blast. This is his first drone and he is getting used to it and beginning to be more daring with distance and height. A couple times he had lost connection but was able to run down the street and reconnect. I had an issue with trying to connect and fly the drone after a long period of no use and contacted support. They replied within a few hours with instructions on how to 'fix" the error. Just needed to recalibrate the drone. ONce I did that the drone was up and flying again. I would have NO HESITATION in purchasing any other drone opr product from this company again just because I know that they are here to support you no matter the circumstance.
