    • Really missing the rubber sides
Overall, I love Speck cases. I've bought them for years. But this one for my Galaxy S22 is a little disappointing in that it doesn't have the raised rubbery grips on the sides like previous versions. This one has raised grips, but not rubbery. It causes this case to be very slippery. I usually tip my phone on its side & lean it up to watch stuff. I can't do that with this case because my phone keeps sliding. If that's not an issue for anyone else, then I definitely recommend this case otherwise. It's solidly built & I trust it to protect my phone if I drop it. And this blue one is a gorgeous color. Maybe Speck would consider making a case with a small grip/kickstand toward the top (without compromising the wireless charging ability). Hope this helps someone. ... show more

    • The case has been redesigned
I have used Speck Grip cases for many years and loved them. They had rubber grippers that were easy to hang onto and didn't slide around on a table. They have been redesigned and no longer grip anything. It slides around if you carry it on top of a book, if its on a table and gets bumped it will slide off the table and it is no longer as secure in my hand.     • Best protection for my phone
I have bought this company's phone case for my last 3 phones. I have accidentally dropped my phone from the top of a ladder and no damage at all occurred to my phone or the case. I am a little disappointed that this model of the case does not have a rubber grip like the previous models which is why I gave the 4 star rating for easy to hold. I will continue to buy this brand for my next phone. Well worth the price. ... show more

    • Not as grippy as they used to be
I hove enjoyed the protection of Speck cases for years, and I found the previous Grip cases to be outstanding with their rubber grips, and I also liked the two-tone effect. I didn't realize that the grip is now simply ridges instead of rubber, which really reduces the grippiness. Unfortunately, I have to keep the case because I need one TODAY, but I'll shop for a different one when this one is ready for replacement. (PSA - remember to replace your case after you have dropped your phone and damaged the case, because that reduces its effectiveness for future drops) ... show more
