This version was clear so allowed my silver back iPhone to shine in all its glory and in 3 weeks have dropped it yet again, damn collision body shop life, and yet it’s still solid with no actual phone or phone screen damage. Best case to protect your $1,000 cellphone. I just purchased this case for my new iphone. I have used this case previously on other iPhones and you just can not beat it for looks and durability. I do not exaggerate that having dropped my previous phone at least 100 times without any damage what so ever to my phone. It allows you to see the phone but it is super protective without hiding the esthetics. I received this case on the same day I ordered it! It was about a six hour turn around from order to delivery. I just would not feel comfortable using my new phone without this case to protect it and Amazon came through with flying colors. The iPhone fits perfectly in the case and the volume and on buttons work just like there is no case on the phone. I have had cases that make it hard to use side buttons but not with this phone. The only downside is the cost because it’s twice the price of other clear cases by the same manufacturer. Not sure why this costs so much more but I depend on it protecting my phone when dropped so I consider it a necessary expense. ... show more

After reading other reviews and having a chance to use the case for a few weeks now I must say that the case does indeed get the job done as described. I'm not sure how people were getting fake ones, but mine came with the official sticker from Speck to show its genuine. I primarily bought the case due to the microban coating that it has in order to prevent bacteria from staying on it. Which is especially important during this COVID 19 situation we live in. CONS: The case as other have mentioned is kinda slippery, but not that bad. It's still grippy enough to hold, and I have dry hands most of the time, so it still stays in my hand. I found it fun to spin my phone while on any surface. I also use it with magnetic plate to stick onto a car holder, and it does not slip at all! Main issue is yes indeed the side buttons are difficult to press down due to stiffness. But after a few weeks of using it, they do soften up and get easier to push down. And what do you expect from this price of a case? I imagine with more usage it will soften up even more and become easier. ... show more

Flies off on the highway, phone is fine... Would rate this case a 10, if possible. Best $10 ever. I've bought this exact case multiple times as my 'go to' , back to iPhone 6. This was a iPhone 11 pro, high speed impact tested. I pay cash for my phone, this was pretty new. No lie, not a scratch. Stopped to supercharge, changed my cooler shirt & set phone on roof. Down the highway, flew off & bounced along the road, landed in meridian between the lanes. Realized phone was gone, 100 mile later. Returned following day, 'find my phone' ping routed me to nearest onramp. Traffic was light, walked out picked it up. Not gonna say exactly how fast , but was 'moving along'.... After removing case, and 'uniqueMe' glass front case & camera lens protection, the phone has not one scratch. Completely amazing; granted, I'm regularly a very very very lucky guy, but still .. YMMV but this is a absurdly good case, not overly bulky .. ... show more

Am writing in response to the reviews suggesting that the case is not snug to the phone (11 Pro). In fact, the case is entirely snug to the phone, just as the Speck cases always have been for my family and me over the years. If the case were any tighter, it'd be quite a chore to get the phone in and out. So... at least for my case, the fit is precisely what I'm seeking. And as for the inflexible buttons, well... they are indeed modestly tight or resistant at the outset. But as I can attest from goodly experience, the buttons loosen and become more flexible over time. By which I mean that they become pliable after a couple of weeks, maybe a little more or less, depending on your level of addiction to the digital life. So for me, this phone is exactly what I'm seeking in a phone: Reliable protection with a dash of style. If you're seeking a case that manifests Jony Ive courage to be as thin and light as modern materials and manufacturing will allow, then maybe look elsewhere. But if you're seeking a case that has the courage to do its job, then this one deserves your attention. It fits just right. The buttons do loosen up. And it offers both protection and style. ... show more
