This is more of a novelty item than a pet odor eliminator. You can barely smell it and the burn remains uneven. $4 Walmart candles out perform this one. Disappointed So...a month later. I'm updating my review to 4 stars. This is not an aromatic candle that masks odors. I misunderstood, it DOES actually eliminate odors without having a strong scent. I was quite surprised at how well it eliminated tobacco odor. I even got my even burn with several hours still left. Just needed to give it a chance. ... show more

The house I'm living in was previously owned by a family with multiple pets, including an incontinent old dog. it smelled terrible, but we were able to get rid of the smell to an extent that we forgot there ever was a smell, if the house was a 10 in smell before, we got it down to a 0 after remodeling. Recently, I have been smelling a strange wet dog/sharp/chemical in the area of the home with hardwood floors and I was very upset to think the dog's smells were coming back. I didn't know why or how. Bought this candle out of desperation with little faith that it would do anything. To my surprise, after using for only one afternoon, it took the smell from a 5 down to a 1. I could still slightly smell something, but it didn't smell like a pet odor anymore, just a general weird smell that wasn't really very offensive. I didn't burn the candle for a few days after to see if it came back, and surprisingly it did not. It's been almost a week, so I decided to burn the candle again to see if we can get the 1 down to a 0. I have faith it will! I am SO GRATEFUL for this product! I love these candles. They do great at covering overbearing smells. I work at a Kennel and we use them there in the office, and I bought my Mom one for Christmas because she loves candles and she has 4 cats and a husband. She enjoys the smell of the fall scent and she enjoys not smelling the scents she doesn’t enjoy smelling. They may be pricey for a candle, but they’re worth it for what they can do! ... show more

Been using these for over 8 years, amazing at getting rid of dog and smoke smell! People are always amazed at how my house doesn’t smell like dog when I have 3 of them. If you never want your home smelly, you’ll go through these a bit quick but worth every penny to me

Their was no description for this (Bermuda Beach) smell so I purchased it thinking it would be a fresh scent. It smells legitely like a clean porter potty, smell it for yourself, you will thank me later!!. Not bad if you like that scent but it just wasn't for me.
