I originally rated this machine with 3 stars but after using it for a week I have decided to up it to 4 stars. My original review was done right after I put it together and I was frustrated with the instructions manual or lack there of. I have used this leg press this week loaded with 500 lbs and it is solid. No wobble or weakness. There is room on the carriage for twice as many 45lb plates and maybe more, so 1,000lbs shouldn’t be any problem for this machine to handle. I am still concerned about the warranty though. The instructions don’t even have the company name (SPART) anywhere on the brochure. No address, phone number, website or email. I hope it is legitimate. I have to admit that this company is legitimate. After complaining about a safety pin that was too short for the machine, the company immediately sent out a new safety pin that was much longer and sturdier. They have been a pleasure to work with and the leg press/hack squat works perfectly. Very heavy duty but yet the right size for my workout room. I am giving this machine and company 5 stars!

I have a small studio gym that I do personal training out of. This machine is a perfect fit. The craftsmanship is excellent. The directions need more detail in explanation but above all that, the customer service was outstanding. This shipment comes in 4 boxes on ground shipping. If you get all four on the same day, your lucky. I got mine on 3 different days so while I was confused and worried that my order was lost in transit, customer service walked me through finding where all my boxes were at. I felt like I was bugging them but they were exceptional in their service. I highly recommend this machine because of the Quality and also customer service.

This machine’s ‘start position’ is NOT designed for optimal results. Ideally it should be in a near lockout position. Your machine begins the rep in a deep knee position. Poor design!! I’ve tried to contact seller for a remedy, no reply! Is there anything I can buy to remedy (fix) this negative problem? Is it possible for someone to respond to me? What good are reviews if nobody replys?

Pros: Steady and solid machine, you can fit lot of plates and work heavy, slides well, doesn’t takes too much space. Cons: Leg platform is not wide for big guys and leg press starting position is not the best for tall and big guys, I’m 6 2” and barely putting feet on the platform, would be great to have more customization options to control stand platform and have wider platform for wider squat or leg press. Overall great machine.
