This bra is deserving of 5 stars even though I can't honestly say "I love it" about any bra. Basically, I wanted a bra that would make my upper chest look good in exchange for a level of discomfort that is not worse than the many "bra alternatives" that I've tried over the years. This bra is the only one I've found that meets this basic requirement. It's far more comfortable than a standard bra: no hooks or plastic parts digging in painfully, no nasty elastic rubbing here and there, and the pressure is fairly evenly spread out so there are no major hot spots. The lack of an adjustment for the shoulder straps was not a problem for me, as I always need straps at maximum length and even then they're almost always too short. If you usually have to tighten the straps, you probably will need to break out the needle and thread, or get the straps shortened by a tailor. I also found that the bra ran a little big. I got the next size down and one cup size bigger, and that fit perfectly. I had no problem at all exchanging sizes. Update Jan 2020: The bras I bought in late 2017 are now stretched out enough that they sometimes slide off when I'm wearing them (oopsie!). And they chafe due to being too loose. I guess these won't last more than a year or two, but no matter - this the only game in town for us natural-born bra-haters. Reordering! ... show more

Spanx is known for having such comfortable bras. There is a version of this bra that does not have an underwire, which I what I thought I was ordering. This is the most uncomfortable bra I have ever tried on. I’m in between a 34C and 34D The cup on the D was so large but the bra wasn’t uncomfortable. I returned for the 34C, and holy moly the underwire was cutting into my skin. No chance I’d spend $70 to be this uncomfortable. The overall quality and support of bra is not worth the money. No padding, the cup was almost hallow which left so much room for the underwire to cut into my skin. In my photo you can see the difference in design from the original to what they’re selling now. I am super disappointed. I’m pregnant and yes my boobs have gotten bigger, all I as looking for was something comfy and this did not hit the mark. I’m super sad. ... show more

I really had high hopes for this bra. When I put it on, I was very happy with the material - very soft! It had a wonderful, comfortable stretchiness to it while still maintaining a solid shape to hold up the girls. But unfortunately, once I got it clasped closed, the side and back coverage it promised just wasn't there for me. I'm sure it is a great fit for someone who doesn't have a lot of extra side and back skin to "tuck in", as it were, but this one didn't work for me. And I love all Spanx product lines! I hope Spanx comes out with a truly full coverage bra - we're talking 4-5 clasps in the back type of band to allow for much wider side and back bands, and wider, comfort-type, straps, with lightly padded cups and perhaps a bit of screen-like material that runs across the top of the cups to prevent spillage? I've just described my perfect bra - oh, and make it available in a 34F with those wider bands - seems an impossible ask at the moment, no matter where I look.
