I ordered these to go under a dress to wear to a wedding but was hoping they'd work for under my wedding dress as well. Unfortunately they were far too high waisted for that (sheer back of the dress from mid back)- like no joke they go up so high they sit right under my bust. I'm not sure if I purchased a size too large? The rest of them seem to be the right size... but they go way high and I have a long torso. They also roll down unless I tuck them under my bra. So another reason they wouldn't work on my wedding dress- it had a built in bra. They are relatively comfortable to wear given they're Spanx and I didn't have chafing. They were a bit difficult to get into. It was a bit of a workout but its worth it.

Easy to put on. Will stay in place. Silicone strips on top and bottom bands prevent from rolling up your legs or down your torso. Doesn't really smooth out "muffin top" but makes it less noticeable. The only problem I found was, when wearing polyester pants with stretchy waistbands, they tend to slip down. LOL! Have to make sure they are in place at all times. LOL!!

I had a hysterectomy 3 weeks ago. The hospital sent me home with white stomach band. Last week during my first OBGYN follow up, she suggested SPANXs. It took me 4 tries before getting the correct size. I’m 5’0 tall, weighing 130 lbs. the 1XL works well for holding my internal organs where they need to be. I had to be careful not to mess with the 4 incisions I have. I think this size (1XL) works just well. Not too tight (that air will hurt my incisions), not too lose that I don’t get that snug feeling. Sizing is very tricky. Be patient and you will need to size up one or two sizes, depending on what you need it for. Hope this helps my fellow hysterectomy sisters.
