I bought this after watching Jeff Foxworthy on the Rachael Ray Show and thought it might be a fun game to play at my family gatherings (Fall and Winter are like a gathering every few weeks). So we played this at our last Thanksgiving - my niece (8) and nephew (10) were with us, I knew the age mentioned 14+, but other reviewers mentioned to just pull some of the cards out. So that's what I did...I went through the piles and just set aside some of the cards in a 'not so appropriate' pile. The family had a blast, kids included and laughs all around. Do make sure you review ALL the cards - even the red set up cards. If I had one comment/suggestion for the game-makers, it would be that I wish the cards (in the initial plastic packaging) had a sticker with an age rating: PG, PG-13, PG-13+. That way I wouldn't have to ruing the game for myself by knowing what cards all were. Still - the game was so fun that my parents had to order a set. ... show more

I played this game with my mom and 2 of my grown children. It was 3 generations of fun! The kids told me this was similar to another game. But since I haven’t played it, I had nothing with which to compare it. They had played the other game, but thoroughly enjoyed this one, as well. Some scenarios are, of course, funnier than others. Although the cards are much more tame than those of other response card games, this is still not something I would recommend to an audience under 18. Although the responses aren't outright vulgar, they are very suggestive and caused a great deal of blushing and uncomfortable shifting when played on Christmas day with a couple 16 and 17 year old family members in the group. Laughter came from awkward situations more than hilarity of the gross or inappropriate responses, but I know that's the nature of these types of games. In praise of the game; the writing is very true to the red-neck humor of Jeff Foxworthy, so if you like that you'll be able to appreciate the drunk hillbilly jokes galore. Takeaway: In a group of 8 people, ages 16 to 45, some laughs were had but mostly at the absurdity of the responses and the embarrassing situations they caused. If you're looking for a family friendly game, this isn't it. If you're looking for a PG-13 version of other popular responses games, this might fit the bill, but definitely not for ages 14+ like the game suggests. ... show more
