This backboard sadly did not work for my backboard lift system, but I really wish it had. The polycarbonate is beautifully clear and sparkling, the red lining looks really good and definite, the hoop is high quality, and the frame is all-metal instead of the plastic that dominates replacement backboards and hoop systems these days. I received a blue back board not red. My girlfriend prefers the blue so no big deal for us. But if you want the red then you might be out of luck. It came with no mounting bracket but it came with two plates that fit over a 4x4 without modification. I just lag bolted a 2' 4x4 above my garage door and lagged the backboard to that. ... show more

VERY DISAPPOINTING It is advertised as a " wall mount" but it is NOT mountable as it arrives.You need a universal mounting bracket -NOT INCLUDED - THEY DON'T TELL YOU AHEAD OF TIME our family got together to hang this and found we need additional hardware -KIDS DISAPPOINTED SHAME ON THEM

I didn’t measure the broken backboard I had on my Spalding basketball base so that’s on me but I thought these were pretty standardly sized. The good thing is that it’s smaller, therefore less wind resistant and less likely to blow over the weighted base. The bad thing is that my daughter throws bricks and misses the backboard altogether and running down the street after rogue basketballs is getting old. ... show more

Am overall happy with this backboard. Unfortunately we were missing the instruction manual. Was able to easily find it on their website. 37 pages and only needed 2 of them.
