When someone says easy installation, the assumption is you will snap it on, or will use a two sided tape. Drilling requires correct tools and is more on the moderate not easy level. If you have the drill with a drill bit for metal, you should be OK. In my case, none of drill bits I own went through the metal. I spent 30 minutes and didn't accomplish a single hole that would go all the way through. This was pretty frustrating. The product itself seems sturdy but for the money, drill bit should be included to make the installation easier. ... show more

I should’ve read the review that said it requires drilling through the frame. Have the skill and the drill bit, but why would I want to put holes in my $1700 goal? Actually makes me regret buying this. Other goals seem like a better value now that I’ve had to buy pad and don’t have this.
