As a person in my 50s experiencing breakouts and acne for the first time in my life, I was desperate to find something that I could do at home that was effective and this has been very effective and helping me manage my breakouts. The blue light is very easy to use. I don’t have any skin irritation and it’s definitely beginner friendly. The sizing is compact enough that you can travel with it and after doing a little research into light therapy for skin care, I found that the red light plate can also help with antiaging as the red light helps to promote collagen production, which is something that slows down drastically as we age. My skin definitely looks and feels better than it has in quite a while. I would recommend this to anyone who has issues with breakouts and acne who wants to be proactive and help themselves at home.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the CLARO red and blue light therapy device from Spa Sciences, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much at first but it’s been surprisingly effective for my inflammatory acne. The device comes with two different LED heads: the blue light, which targets acne-causing bacteria and helps calm active breakouts, and the red light, which reduces inflammation and helps heal the skin. I like that it’s rechargeable and super easy to use you just hold it on each area for a couple of minutes until it beeps and move to the next spot. It’s also FDA-cleared and doesn’t use UV, so it feels safe for regular use. I’ve noticed that my painful, inflamed pimples calm down faster, and my skin looks less irritated overall when I’m consistent with it. If you deal with red, swollen acne like I do, I’d say this is actually worth trying it’s not a miracle overnight fix, but with regular use, it definitely helps keep inflammation and new breakouts under control.

Worked for the two months we had it. Now it is just dead. Won't charge. Doesn't light up up at all and doesn't make the sound it did when it needed to charge. 100% disappointed.
