I have only had this product for a short time but so far I am pleased with it. The clipper head and hedge trimmer attachments work well. It is a good tool for the money! I was very pleased with the battery life. It lasted for quite awhile before it had to be recharged. I use this product for areas that a string trimmer can't access very well or the string trimmer does too much damage, such as in and around some of my wife's flower beds. It will work fine if you take your time with it, don't rush it or it will clog up on you in very tall grass.

I bought this for myself because it was battery operated. It worked great. Cordless is amazing value for the money, great safety feature you have to use both hands so no accidentally emergencys. Easy set up charge battery in charger and your ready to go. A little heavy after a while of use but comfortable and cut with ease.

Good for light trimming. Quick change cutting heads. Great for trimming around flowers and close to walls. I use it around flowering cactus to keep my fingers away from thorns. Long battery life. Lightweight, easy to use.

I was surprised with the power and cutting/trimming ability of this grass shear. It was easy to put together and charge and use. Maybe a little heavy, but still ok and it felt durable. I like the safety feature that it shuts off it I stop trimming. I have only used it a couple of times, but am very pleased. I use it for trimming around my flowers/edging area.

Bought the Soyus 6 inch chain saw last year which came with a case and two batteries. Was thoroughly impressed with the performance for the price. When spring came I bought this trimmer set thinking the batteries would be cross-product compatible since they were both sold by Soyuz. Unfortunately though the voltage is the same, the shapes of the batteries are different and not compatible. Still a good product for the price. Nice to have both the grass trimmer and mini hedge trimmer together. Not strong enough to cut branches larger than 1/4 inch or so but haven’t reached the limit of a battery yet. Would be nice to have a lock on feature because it can get tiring to use continuously for more than 4-5 minutes in 1 hand, but you get what you pay for. Also wish it came with a case to keep all the parts together, but bought a 14” tool bag that holds everything plug gloves great

I chose to get this for cutting both difficult areas on the lawn as well as some vines and shrubs. Used it a dozen times and can make several observations. I got this with 2 external batteries, since if you have a lot to do, you can just swap batteries. More importantly, if you have a cutter with an internal battery, when it eventually dies for good, you just have to junk the whole thing. One big error some other reviews have given - you do NOT need to constantly hold in the safety switch on the side of the handle. Once you squeeze it and the central trigger to start cutting, you can release the safety switch and it will keep on working. Pros: Battery life is good enough for most jobs You can change the angle of the head with the blades to suit your needs best In contrast to some other's complaints, cutting strength is more than adequate if you are not asking the unreasonable Cons: Fairly long recharge time for batteries No meter on battery to indicate level of charge Maintenance* There is one issue with this thing, and it really is not insignificant. On my former trimmer, I could use it a hundred times and it would keep on cutting just fine. But with this one, after a dozen uses the blades are just too dull and you have to get a file and sharpen the blades. Definitely a lot more maintenance with this model, and of course you need to frequently clean and oil it. I've also looked for any page of the manufacturer, and there just doesn't seem to be any. In case you mess up something and want to buy a new grass or shrub trimming blade head or battery by itself, you may not be able to - you're out of luck.

For the money. It's very good machine.. I got the x2 batteries but they last a long time. I'll get tired way before the machine runs out of juice.. Which is my first compliant.. although not heavy it's not light either.. It gets heavy after a while.. The machine works well.. It's better with the hedge attachment then the grass shears.. The Shears do cut but you can't really cut very tall grass or they get bogged down.. You have to do light passes then you can cut taller grass.. ( I call it tall grass but it's only like around 1ft.. machine can do around 2-4 inch) The annoying part is that it feel like it could if the machine had more power... Hedge attachment works really well and cuts most of what you throw at it.. with in reason.. Most of the stuff that fits between the cutting blades will cut.. Only had it jam x2 in 2-3 hours of use.. All in all I like it and battery life is great which surpised me..but some applications feel like it needs more power.. I may or may not keep it.. I'll probably end up trying another one of these that cost x2 as much to see if it has more power this one is lacking.. But this one isn't bad for light duty stuff like weeds much easier than pulling by hand so I may keep this one as well...
