I didn't like the crazy inflated cost of gas powered lawn mowers so I decided to buy a corded lawn mower. Naturally, I needed an extension cord long enough for it. I decided to buy this cord because it was 120ft, which is 20ft longer than the competitors. I did read the reviews and saw a lot of people showing burnt cords which was a concern of mine. While using this cord I kept an eye to make sure I would not have the same problem. This cord works as it should and is a great value so long as you use it with the equipment it was designed for. I assume the people that had burnt cords tried to hook up electronics that drew too much power, more power than the cord was capable of handling. I’ve had this extension cord for 10 years. The color is great to visually see when doing outdoor yard work with equipment. The cord is still in great condition, has not degraded at all. The only drawback is that it’s so long that it tangles everytime I use it for my electric lawn mower. I spend time to untangle it and stored it that way but still after a time or two, tangles up again. May be too long is the reason and the direction I have to mow in my odd shaped yard. ... show more
