The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice, soft pad. Not stiff at all, no "break in period". I don't believe there should be a "break in period" for any saddle pad. Unfortunately I might return it, as the length is a bit too long for my saddle and horse combo. It's a 32" length and 30" wide. I need a 31-32 or a 30-30. But I kinda don't want to return it because it's so soft! You won't be disappointed with the quality of this felt pad, if you're tired of stiff, out of the box saddle pads you paid too much for, eehm. . . Reinsmen, then get one of these.     • Great pad but needed alterations for spine relief.

Very high quality pad. There is NO spine relief on this pad. While it is split up the middle, there is the same thickness at the spine as the rest of the pad. I used a box knife and carefully cut a two inch wide relief the length of the pad. Now it's perfect! The spine does have a leather bolster and works as if it were made to be cut out in this fashion. ... show more
