I didn't expect excellent quality for the price I paid but I expected better than what I had received. I intentionally bought three of these dressers to fit along a wall and provide a temporary increase in storage. I don't envision needing three matching dressers again the future, so it wasn't important to me to make a substantial investment beyond the next year or two. Two of the three dressers I received arrived with substantial cracks. This damage was not visible from the outside, so I didn't bother going through the hassle of exchanging them. All three dressers had dents visible in the wood on the outside, though this did not impact the finish on the dresser as previous reviews had warned. The bottoms of the drawers are extremely flimsy and I have had several fall apart and sag since filling them only a week ago. My husband has since tightened in the locking screws with an electric drill and that has provided a minimal amount of additional support. I'm sure it will be temporary, but it works for now. Final Notes: The drawers are quite shallow (which is articulated on the product, so I should have expected that) The hardware is very heavy and high quality (honestly, probably worth the value of 50% of the dresser alone) The finish is very fragile and easy to damage, as other have mentioned. The general construction of the items was not difficult, though we did find using a power drill sped up the process substantially. I replaced two IKEA dressers with three of these, and I would easily rate the IKEA dressers as twice the quality for approximately the same price. Unfortunately, since IKEA have suffered recent recalls, their product options have decreased. I should have listened to previous reviews. I would not purchase these again, and would not be surprised if they do not last us through the year. ... show more

This was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and simple. I love it. Very pretty and the perfect size . I have room for my clothes and then some ! Also, I had read in reviews when I went to buy about a smell..? There is none ! Definitely happy with it!

Pretty good at their replacement of peices by customer service. Took two times to get me correct price. They make two parts, "A" & "U", and the printing font of the "A" makes it look like a "U" to an untrained eye. Rep couldn't diagnosis correctly that A is the very top board on the chest but U is unseen thin board on back of chest. Has now taken weeks to assemble because of slow mailing/processing/shipping speed on replacement peices. Unsure if repeat business will be considered. Also, not easily contacted by phone on second issue, resolved via chat where I was informed by rep to fill out a short form. ... show more

I recently moved and ended up needing a new dresser. I thought the handles and matte black finish were perfect modern decor that could go with any style in your home. The drawers open so smoothly and never slam. Very spacious as well. The instructions recommend having a second person to help put it together, but with an hour of free time I found it rather easy to do by myself. The box it comes in is very heavy but i've never know sturdy long lasting products to be as light as a feather ... show more

Have two of these dressers only things to say is quality isnt all that great out the box but for the price cant complain to much. Main issue is if you plan on putting anything ontop of it just dont. After about week the center will begin to sag and top drawer will not be able to close once opened. There is no center support and wood is very weak put a Playstation 4 and 5 small books on top and began to sag. Thought it may be defect but other one did the same with just a xbox one on it. ... show more

I assembled the dresser. I put in the drawers one at a time starting from the bottom. When I got to the top drawer, I found that it would not slide all the way in because the top board was bowed (see photo). I removed top board and attempted to straighten it for an hour or so, but didn't want to spend any more time on it. From my experience, it is odd for particle board to be warped, it's usually very flat. There were some minor cosmetic defects at the edge of one of the drawer faces. Defects happen and we could have potentially gotten a replacement top board, but there is also a design flaw. When I took of the top board to try to straighten it, I noticed a 3 in gap from the back of the dresser to the back of the drawers. That's a complete waste of space. I thought the drawers seemed short when I was assembling it. The drawers are also fairly shallow at 4.5 inches and as mentioned earlier they only go back 13.75 inches, which is much shorter than the depth of the dresser. I recommend getting something else.unless you love the look, which is pretty good. The handles were substantial and aesthetically appealing. ... show more
