This is a very nice rug. I have the 8 X 10 size, so it's large for an area rug and perfectly fits where I wanted it to go. It's coral fleece with a foam inner core, so it's remarkably thick, soft, and comfy. It's a nice, subtle geometric pattern with colors in gently varying shades of gray that will go with nearly any decor. The backing is non-slip with PVC dots that grip the floor. The rug comes folded into a tight, vacuum-packed package, but unfolds effortlessly, and the creases are already beginning to disappear just shortly after I laid it down. I haven't yet vacuumed the rug but judging by the softness of the pile it should vacuum easily. The rug is also said to be machine washable but there's no way it's going to fit into our home washing machine. If I ever decide to wash it I would have to take it to a laundramat to use one of the big commercial washers. I placed the rug in my downstairs bar near the fireplace. It fits into the decor perfectly and brightens up the whole area. I am totally pleased with this high-quality, attractive, plush and comfortable rug and I do recommend it.

This washable rug is such a great addition to a bedroom or any cozy space. The soft, neutral white tone blends beautifully with modern décor, and the texture feels plush underfoot without being too thick. It instantly makes the room feel brighter and more inviting. One of the biggest highlights is how easy it is to clean. Being able to toss it in the wash is a huge plus, especially for high‑traffic areas or homes with kids or pets. The non‑slip backing works well too—once it’s in place, it stays put. It also has enough thickness to it that it can be vacuumed without the rug suctioning to the vacuum. This 8x10 rug ended up being a great addition to the room. The size is perfect for covering a larger space, and it really helps tie everything together without looking oversized. The material is soft underfoot and comfortable to walk on, which makes it nice for living rooms or bedrooms. It also lays flat pretty quickly after unrolling and doesn’t bunch up much with normal use. One of the biggest positives is that it’s washable. That makes a huge difference, especially in high-traffic areas or if you’ve got kids or pets. The non-slip backing does a decent job keeping it in place, so it’s not constantly shifting around. The black color gives it a clean, modern look and hides dirt well between washes. For the price—especially with the coupon—it’s a solid value for a large area rug.

HOW IT ARRIVES: I’m not sure whether to be impressed or scared that an 8 x 10 rug is shipped and packaged into a small rectangle (17”x 15”x 5”) There is a crazy amount of packing tape on top of the heavy-duty plastic bag, but it’s not really obvious what the purpose is. I really can’t emphasize enough how much tape there is, but you’ll need a very sturdy pair of scissors to cut it free. I’ve never seen a rug before that was sold folded. They’ve always been rolled to prevent wrinkles and creases, so I wasn’t really sure how this one was going to work out. I anticipated deep heavyset creases from it being folded so tightly and for so long. It took me a good solid 10 minutes to cut all the tape off everything because I didn’t want to cut the bag, just in case I needed to return it in the original packaging. As it turned out the tape was kind of pointless because inside the bag was another bag, but this one was vacuum sealed within an inch of its life. Explains how they were able to get this rug down to such a small rectangular size. I’m gonna be honest, I had a good giggle watching it expand as soon as I cut the vacuum seal open. There was the sudden sound of a huge whoosh of air, and that thing expanded in front of me to a folded comforter-size like a magic trick. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t arrive with a strong odor. FIRST IMPRESSION: The rug itself is not at all what I was expecting. It’s more like the world’s largest plush bathmat. Like if a plush throw blanket and a bathmat had a baby. But, unlike a luxury bathmat that has a sink-into type of memory foam, this has fairly thin foam cushioning. It does spring back to shape when you compress it though. SIZE: Calling it a rug is very generous. It’s more like an oversized mat- a throw mat, an area mat, if you will. To their credit, it IS accurate to the advertised size though. I ordered 8x10 and got 8x10. THICKNESS & TEXTURE: It’s pretty thin and if you’re gonna use it on a hardwood floor, I would probably put a rug pad under it for extra cushioning. It is soft and smooth to the touch. It’s pleasant to sit on and rub with your hands. Your pets and children will want to roll around on it. Heck, you may want to roll around on it. COLOR: I ordered “Milky White” and I would describe it as a cool toned light beige that leans more towards gray. The pictures and name make you think it’s a warm creamy offwhite and it’s absolutely not that, so I was disappointed. I tried to color match it with the only paint swatch deck I had on hand but couldn’t really get it. The closest matches were somewhere between Sherwin-Williams SW7567 Natural Tan and SW7568 Neutral Ground. If “Milky White” is more like a greige/light gray than I imagine ordering “Light Gray” would probably get you a cool Medium gray. MATERIAL & SHEEN: Another discrepancy from the photos (of course AI) is the sheen. You may think you’re ordering a matte rug, that is uniform in overall appearance, however this is polyester so it has a high sheen and light reflectivity. Do you remember playing with the carpet as a kid where you brush your hand in one direction and it changes the color of the carpet and you brush it the other way to make it darker? Well that’s what you’re gonna see with this rug. You’re going to see every footprint, handprint, and vacuum line because of the sheen and the pile. That may not bother you but I know it’s going to drive me nuts. This was my first polyester rug and will definitely be my last. On a positive note, it does not shed at all, unlike my wool rug. It also has a cozy warming property to it that my cats immediately took a liking to and napped inside a folded corner. PATTERN: Yet again, another discrepancy between the photos and reality is the pattern’s scale. I ordered it because I thought the oversized geometric scale was really clean and unfussy and modern looking. The actual pattern is much smaller scaled and busy. Like 3x smaller. It very much changes the aesthetic and cheapens the look. BACKING & EDGES: The back of the rug is dark gray and covered in a small grippy dot pattern that reminds me of the grip dots on the bottom of my slippers. The dots aren’t very dimensional and they don’t provide any real grip. By comparison a hospital sock has a billion times more grip. The binding on the edge is made from an extremely thin material and you can see that when looking at the backside where the color of the gray grip backing shows through. My concern is that it won’t hold up to wear and tear from vacuuming, scuffing from foot traffic, moving furniture etc. EXPECTATION VS. REALITY: Overall I gotta say I’m disappointed. I expected a warm creamy offwhite plush rug with uniform sheen and color, a grippy backing and a large scale geometric pattern. What arrived was a cool tone light greige bathmat with light foam, no effective grip and a small busy pattern. Pros: It’s very soft, comfortable to bare skin and pleasant for babies and pets, inexpensive way to get a large area rug in a pinch. OVERALL: I gave this rug 3/5 stars because the description and the use of AI pictures instead of actual product photos is misleading to customers. It isn’t at all the aesthetic or quality I hoped for as an area rug for my living room, but it’s the correct size, soft and turns out my cats REALLY like it so I guess it will be relinquished to the guest room.

The media could not be loaded. I love the way this rug feels. It’s nice and soft to the touch and has enough pile to actually move in one direction or the other. I also love the way this rug feels under foot. It’s nice and soft with extra cushion when you walk. The pattern is nice, very geometric, but also monochromatic in color. And I was hesitant to get a white rug, but I have to say this is a soft white and it looks terrific. There was no weird smells, and there was no shedding at all. The only reason that I dropped a star was because I can’t really use the vacuum on it very easily. It tends to grab it and lift which can get frustrating. But if that is not an issue or you use a floor robot which many people do this rug will be perfect. The non-skid backing keeps it securely in place and again it looks beautiful and feels beautiful.
