Description

To beat the competition & be the loudest on the streets, you have to think smarter, buy smarter, & build smarter. Helping you become that guy, Soundstream’s proud to introduce Tarantula XTREME POWER amplifiers. New to the Soundstream arsenal in Fall 2020, these robust Class D amplifiers produce massive power beyond your wildest dreams. Don’t let their size fool you though, they pack a HUGE punch. Super efficient silicon steel core power supply transformers deliver high-current power on demand. While traditional toroidal transformers are compact & deliver clean, uncolored power for premium sound, silicon steel alloy core transformers pass far more current, more efficiently. What does this mean for you? More power to your subwoofers & speakers without needing a truck-load of batteries & industrial-size power wiring… Mind blown!

  • This amp is very underrated
I have 2 off these hooked to 2 8" subs that pound

  • Absolute monster!
I've been in the audio game for quite a while now and soundstream was a company that was at the top of the charts back in the late 90's early 2000's. But a few years back they were bought out by another company called epsilon and their quality kinda went down and so did their reputation. With that said I recently wanted to buy something to power 2-12" subs I installed in my Honda Civic and of course I did some research on budget minded amp and came across this monster. I watched a few videos online about this series of amps and I heard nothing but good things about it so I took a chance. So let me tell you a little bit more without getting all technical. Does the amplifier produce what it says? Absolutely! Does the amplifier overheat? Not one bit! Does the amplifier sound good with all the features you'd want in a budget amplifier? Absolutely! So to sum it all up, you won't find a better amplifier for the money. So glad to see soundstream step up again and make a banger! ... show more

  • Soundstream txp-3500
Bought this amp about a year ago now and it's pushed everything from a kicker 15 L7, to Alpine Type R, quantum audio, Rockford fosgate P2, 2 kicker 12's CVR's d4. I've ran it at 2 ,4 and 1 ohm and this little amp has some decent power IMO. I haven't had any trouble with the amp. Good amp to push some subs. Other then the ground wire input screw striped, and I wish the sub an power, remote and ground inputs were not at a angle. Those are the only complaints that I have ... show more

  • Smallest amp I could find in this power class, poor quality control.
Installed this in a 2006 Grand Cherokee under the rear seat. Very tight location. Currently powering a Polk 10" sub. Hits hard, doesn't get very hot. One thing to note is that when I connected it to my system it caused a horrible ground loop. I ran the wires differently, used different RCAs, connected the system grounds together, tried a different amp. The problem was this amp, it just does that. I ended up putting a Ground Loop Isolator that finally fixed most of the problems when I tied it's ground in to the amp ground. Update: I pulled the top and sides off. Pretty poor quality control. A mix of screws holding it together, seems like they just grabbed whatever was closest. The amp is about .4” taller than it needs to be, lots of free space above the caps and transformer. Most worrying is that the main board is screwed down tight to the main extrusion where it’s tapered so the main board is bent down in the middle by about a millimeter. Not much but it’s not meant to be bent at all, makes me worry about it’s long term durability. All the major components are potted in though. ... show more

Let me start out with this amp is super powerful for it's size and i have it hooked up to single Soundstream R3.12 at 1 Ohm and the amp is only a quarter of the way up and it sounds amazing very deep low bass that shakes everything, I highly recommend this amp!!!!

Nice compact lil powerhouse. 1250 watts and it sounds like it, paired with a pair of Rockville k6 12s and it slumps. Buy with confidence.

  • Best bang for your buck!
Amp packs a punch! Wired my 10” to 1 ohm and this amp woke my sub up!
