So, I have the luxury of being able to compare these directly to a sister product, the Sound Peats Capsule3, as well as standard Airpod Pro. This offers quite a nice basis for forming an opinion. Overall, I will state these are very nice, and quite impressive in sound quality and sound stage, especially given the nature of their design. The design being more open ear than creating a seal with the ear canal, and thus transmitting the sound waves through a more determinate medium. First, and this is why I title my review as I did, is the fit and design. These are of a very open ear design. They almost barely rest within the base of the outer ear, and do not create a seal. As a result, while they are still surprisingly secure, overall, they often don't "feel" that way. If you lean over too far, too quickly, these will almost surely pitch out. Normal earbuds that create a seal are far less likely to have this happen. Still, as I said, even for the lightness of their rest, they do actually stay in place quite well. They are very light, given their design, and if you have an reason for fatigue when wearing earbuds for a long period of time, these are for you. When comparing them to their sister, you can see that the case along is almost twice as large. So, this is a positive for most peeps. Lighter form factor, all around. Now, with all of that being said, how was and is the sound? Well, quite wonderful, actually. It is rich and creamy, if you'll forgive the food example. While these might be a bit of "diet buds", they still perform. At the same time, given their smaller profile and lack of a seal, the sheer volume of the device is only about 60% of the Capsule3. You definitely notice the difference. You will also find this quite evident in the ANC. This is easily last in terms of quality, and that makes sense, as the Capsule and Airpods both have strong seals on the canal. That along makes the task of canceling noise much easier. So, for me, ANC is the least impactful here. As for all-around usage, these are simply great. You can easily change volume and adjust material, and they are very intuitive to use. Oh, and as is familiar, the Sound Peats here blow away even Apple's far more expensive Airpod Pros with regard to music and overall immersion. Where Apple is significantly better is with all around quality of sound and ANC, as well as voice, which is Apple's thing. No one does voice quality and stage better, imho. So, who is the audience here? If you like light weight, don't need a lot of volume, maybe appreciate the smaller form factor, but still want a high quality, ANC earbud for listening to music and all other use, this would be a solid option.

Sound Quality- Leaves much to be desired until you play with the EQ. I recommend downloading Wavelet for the EQ, but PeatsAudio is essential for software updates and the different ANC settings. These improve on the Air4 in every department. One thing I really enjoy about these is the audio isn't effected whether you're using ANC or not. Battery- The battery is plenty for gym use, and the earbuds charge fast in the case. Connectivity- Bluetooth v5.4 is stable and gives you room between your earbuds and whatever they're connected to. Snapdragon Aptx lossless audio would be nice if it was a codex on all phones, but it is not. Paring- Seamless.

I like the design of these ear buds. They’re close to the original AirPods but in a much smaller case. They’re comfortable to wear and sound actually really great. The battery life is very good and the charging case works well to keep them ready for when you need them. Where these fall way short is with the app which is clunky and has Chinese instructions in it. Also it requires you to create an account. Not great. Another weak point, and frankly dealbreaker for me, is the noise canceling. There is no noticeable difference in the noise level when switching between normal more and noise canceling. I tried it out in several environments and couldn’t tell a difference in the modes. I wasn’t expecting Bose level cancelation at this price point but I expected something to change and sadly it didn’t. I would recommend these for listening to music as they sound really good and are easy to use. If you’re looking for noise cancellation then look elsewhere because these just don’t work for that.

I’ve worn these SoundPEATS for the last few days and they’ve been fairly comfortable. I can feel that they are in my ears and there’s sometimes a slight pressure point (I guess that’s what you call it), but nothing too bad. I was talking to my sister and she said that I sounded really good for having headphones on and that I probably sounded better with these than any of my other headphones. Now, my sister has sensitive ears and hates certain noises, so when the wind picked up (I was walking outside) she said that sounded horrible and to switch to the phone. Also when I was talking to her, one earbud said that it was running out of power and finally shut off, but the other one was still working and allowed me to continue the conversation. One earbud did fall out over the course of several days, but I was leaning over in the shop picking something up, so I guess that’s to be expected. The User Guide could use a lot of improvements, since it’s so short on details that you want to know about. Since they repeat everything in 9 different languages I can understand why it’s so long without much content. For example, “First time of Use” and “Reset & Enter Pairing mode Manually” each take 2 pages, but “Control” takes one. To me “Control” is one of the most important pages and they show 9 small pics that I needed to put on my reading glasses to see the details and the written instructions are, “x1: Single tap. 1.5x Long press for 1.5s”. What? The earbuds are turned on when the charging case is opened and turned off when the case is closed (with the earbuds in it). I turned on a large fan in the shop and then activated the AI Adaptive Noise Cancelling feature and I could still hear that the fan was running, but it sounded much quieter. Music sounds good to me when I’m wearing these earbuds.
