  • yes.
Color: Gunmetal with MIC
yes. Yes yes yes yes yes yes. Normally I’m not picky with my earbuds, but once I switched to earbuds that actually sounded good. I can’t go back. I’m not an audiophile but I can say it sounds good, price is good, and the comfort is good (for me at least.) The actual audio jack tilting to the side looks like it would be annoying but it actually helps immensely. ... show more

  • Most durable set of wired earbuds I've ever found
Color: Black
Too often I end up with earbuds where one side goes dead within a year or a few months, or the casing on the cord gets frayed. I've had these over a year, and they've gotten run over by the wheels of my chair many times, but they still work as well as the day I got them. Also, the carry case was a nice touch. ... show more

  • Excellent sound for the cost. A little bright. Wimpy cable.
Color: Black with MIC
Disclaimer: I can only describe what I hear with the pair of earphones I got, using my "reference recordings." and audio gear. Your experience may differ. I strongly disagree with reviews that criticize the bass on the SoundMagic E11C earphones. Fortunately the default silicone plugs fit my ear well and I make sure to put them firmly into the canals with a tug on my lower ear lobes and use gentle pressure pushing in from the sides... very satisfying bass into the deepest register, whether acoustic, percussive or electric. But if you don't get a good acoustic seal, the bass will be anemic. I've had to adjust them myself when I was a little off on placement. Out of the box, they were overly bright yet uncannily accurate on instrumental nuances. I could hear the clarinet pads clicking on Mozart's concerto (Academy of Ancient Music). Never noticed THAT before! To be fair, I'm more accustomed to my Grado SR60i over-the-ear phones---in the ear is bound to be a different sound experience and that may be overly influencing my evaluation. Even after several hours of break-in, I still believe they are a shade on the bright side but still remarkably balanced overall, especially for a single driver. They are quite dynamic, with sharp percussion and musical performance immediacy . I'm 65, so younger ears may find the tonal quality more elevated in the treble than I did after full break-in. If the vocals are overly sibilant, you're gonna hear it. I used a direct, variable output from my vintage Sony 707ESD CD player (I told you I was old!) I didn't use the mic & tone controls: ... SoundMagic should ditch these in exchange for a more substantial audiophile grade cable that's about six inches longer than the current length. Still, the answer is YES... I would buy them again. ... show more

  • Average Wired Earbuds
Color: Gunmetal with MIC
The product works well and is pretty loud and picks up sound decently. The only downside is that once in a blue moon if I have no audio playing it will make a strange droning noise

  • Channel failure on two separate sets of earbuds
Color: Gunmetal with MIC
I really wanted to like these. The sound quality is generally excellent for the price point, and although I did not find them as comfortable and well-fitting as the previous E10 series, they were good enough. However my first pair had a slight decrease in volume in the left earbud after several months. It wasn't huge, but it was noticeable. So I bought another pair, which were fine at first. Eventually there was reduced volume in this pair too, again in the left channel. It wasn't a hearing or fit issue; all of the rest of my in-ear and over-ear headphones sound fine. I also did a blind test with a monaural source, inserting the buds into my ears without looking at which was R or L. I could always identify the weak channel. The left channel is the one with the inline controls; maybe that's the source of the problem. I don't know, but I'm not taking a chance on these again. ... show more

  • One of the best headphones for the money
Color: Gunmetal with MIC
To compare the durability and sound quality to Apple or Bose headphones that cost way more, I would take these any day of the week. They're plugs and do an amazing job of blocking out noise, I can do my work in a crowded place and not get bothered by my surroundings. And I can work out with these without having them slip out. I broke mine months after I bought them and I reached out to the seller, who was very kind enough to send me another pair at no cost. I definitely will be buying from them again. ... show more

  • I loved it but...
Color: Gunmetal with MIC
I've used these headphones for listening to media and making calls on my phone or laptop since I bought them in August 2020. Unfortunately, the earbud on the mic side suddenly got significantly quieter and the bass is all but gone. Shame they didn't last as long as I had hoped. I had a good experience with it and I'm not much of an audiophile yet but, ultimately, I wanted more from the sound. Personally, it works best with streams and podcasts (talking/talk shows), as I appreciated not having to turn up the audio all the way just to hear. Well-made productions are elevated. I still remember the first time I used it. Music, what I mostly use headphones for, was fine but the bass is a little lacking. Not a proper fit with the deep bass and repetitive beats of some dance/electronic, techno, and house music. Vocals and instruments fare decently with the likes of indie/alternative, classical, and soundtracks. But I agree with the highs and lows being suppressed. Liked the design and aluminum build, particularly the durable cable and angled jack plug. ... show more

  • These are the ones!
Color: Gunmetal with MIC
I have searched for the perfect earbuds for several years. I am always looking for high audio performance in a durable, lightweight slim profile. Wired buds work for me as they are just reliable performers without being fussy. Ive tried many good ones over the years and been tempted to shell out high dollars and purchase high quality wireless buds. But with the landscaping I do all day, thought they would drive me crazy with issues. Searching again for high quality wired buds at a reasonable price, I ran across the sound magic buds. They received high marks and are affordable so I gave them a try. Pretty unbelievable that such an unassuming looking earbud can perform so well. Midrange is warm and full of subtle detail with a strong low end. High end receives a 4/5 as it could use a slight uptick of detail. But that being said, the full mids and base take the cake with the top end performing adequately to give these sound magic buds my highest mark. I will definitely buy again. Sure, you can spend more, but not get a whole lot more. ... show more
