Like the heading says, I use this speaker for EVERYTHINGGGG!! lol! For example, when I'm home I use it as a surround sound speaker for my tv/movies. If I need more bass, I hook up my minirig subwoofer, via hard wire, and voila! Instant cinematic sound! I also use it for my DJ set up with records for scratching and mixing/listening, and thanks to it's ZERO LAG it works perfectly!! Then when I go out on my ebike for work, I put it in my little camera shoulder bag, where it fits PERFECTLY facing up, and I have INCREDIBLE sound for my entire ride, with barely 20 percent of the battery being drained due to it's also amazingly sized battery!! No it isn't quite as convenient as a strap or clip speaker like I have owned many in the past, but the sound quality and loudness really outweighs any of that! I also learned just yesterday that it actually works phenomenally as a handsfree speaker phone if i need to talk on my phone while riding without getting dangerous, so that was just another amazing little surprise that this tiny speaker is capable of. I must point out however, that it doesn't sound that great out of the box. Very important to know!! It needs to be tuned, but thanks to the soundcore app, it is actually very easy to do!! I included my personal tune that I created, which is a hybrid of a couple different youtubers I found on Youtube, and then I really fine tuned it with my records to make sure that everything would sound good (no, amazing) coming out of it. I posted pics of my tunes. This is with the latest firmware, and I tend to move the last two bass levels up and down depending on if I'm inside or outside. It also sounds quite different depending on your placement in a room, etc. due to it's passive subwoofers on the front and back. Speaking of which, they don't make speakers like this anymore!! It has a total of SIX speakers!!! TWO tweeters!! Yes I said tweeters!! Which really give it that extra special sparkle. They'r also stereo!! Who does this anymore??? Two drivers and TWO passive subwoofers!! The trick I learned with the passive subs, is that you really need to be aware of where you place the speaker to really take advantage of the passive subs. Meaning, put them near a wall, or even when I have the speaker in my bag, it helps to bring out the bass. Which if done right, is actually super impressive!! If I go up on the roof to smoke, I put it in a chair near one of the walls and WOW!! Super bass heavy!! It honestly doesn't take much. But if you just have it on a table by itself, not near anything at all, then the bass can only do so well. All due to the two passive subs and their placement. The great thing about that though, is that you can really bring out so much more of this speakers potential, just by experimenting! Really fun actually to hear it in different circumstances. I obviously can't say enough about this speaker, and in my opinion from experience with most of the best portable bluetooth speakers on the market (including the UE ROLL 2's the MINIRIG 2.1 and several JBL's and other random speakers) this is hands down, bar none the best portable bluetooth speaker on the market!! Especially for it's swiss army like versatility, as well as incredibly top notch (after you tune it) sound quality! I can't wait to get a second one to pair them in stereo!! I can only imagine how insane that will end up being

This is the best speaker for the money out there. I have owned this for 3 years and have taken it everywhere, never missing a beat… (Yes pun)… The sound quality on this is pretty good out of the box but some EQ’ing on the app makes this really come alive with a vibrant sound. I cannot emphasize enough how much improvement a makes for this portable speaker. For me, this really loves a V shaped EQ as the mids are pretty forward and dominant out of the box. The hardware itself is great but the tuning is pretty average out of the box. If you don’t mind dialing it in yourself, it is well worth the 5-10 minutes it takes to set it and forget it. This has a pretty wide range for such a moderately sized speaker. This speaker boasts a generous capacity for bass and has excellent sound separation. It seems to have 2 mid-range drivers, 2 high range, and one “sub.” I initially used this as a little soundbar for my desktop pc but now it is my daily driver. I have used it nearly every day for 3 years and it has been rocksteady the whole while. The battery life is still excellent too. Back to the EQ, this benefits from a bit of extra sub bass, generous mid bass amplification and moderate upper mids and treble. With that set up, this little guy really becomes vibrant. Being a smaller speaker, the bass is obviously going to be somewhat limited but for the size it is surprisingly present. I would describe the bass as present, clean, and generally responsive. For durability I may not be the best person to ask because I’m generally pretty protective of this thing but it has been in a backpack hundreds of times and even dropped a few slight drops. Other than a small dent from one such drop there is no real sign of wear. All in all I would highly recommend this speaker for anyone who wants the best possible sound quality for the money!

Out of the box, the sound lacks bass and some highs. Downloading the app and tweaking the EQ makes these speakers really sing. I put on some Steely Dan and played with the EQ for 5 minutes and then they were good to go. They remember the previous EQ setting when you next use them, so you don't have to adjust every time. I bought two so I could pair them into stereo mode. They sound good and produce stereo sound alone, but two together is quite impressive. These are replacing an old pair of JBL Flip 4's. The Flips were fine, but the battery life was fading. I would use them at moderate volume about an hour per day, and I would have to charge twice a week. The new Motion+ are a bit larger, louder, sound better, and the battery life is 2-3X longer. Overall excellent speakers for the price so far. No Bluetooth connection problems and they seem to be solid and high quality. Highly recommended if you're willing to get the Soundcore app and tweak the EQ for a few minutes. I uploaded a photo of my settings. Try making yours similar to mine and see how it goes.
