  • Out of the box, impressed ... at least at this price point.
Color: Blue
I had doubts. I was replacing my beloved Liberty 2 Pro buds (an encounter with the washing machine ended them), and I didn't have the same budget. The P20i buds are definitely cheaper-feeling plastic, lighter weight, and the case feels cheaper. I saw that they had customizable EQ and I confused that with the HearID, which they do NOT have. That said, I have Auditory Processing Disorder (APD/CAPD), so clarity is a really big deal for me, and that's something I'm definitely getting out of these earbuds right now. I wish I could raise the bass a little regardless of EQ setting, but that's not going to be a thing. It's just the choice of presets. The acoustic, suprisingly, is the most balanced. That hasn't been the case with a lot of preset EQs I've tried in the past 20s years. So far I've tried them on classical, heavy metal, power metal, classic pop rock and soft rock, 2000s alternative, modern and classic EDM, and classic Broadway. They get the job done nicely. Nothing sounds lost or muddled, at least on the Acoustic setting. I just wish they had adjustable treble and bass. I mean really. This is a super basic feature to offer. You don't need the fancy HearID for basic EQ sliders. The sound is so close. A tiny tweak and it would be perfect. That said, I've bought earbuds at this price point that were destined for the trash, so these are quite nice for what they are. I don't like the touch buttons. I like tactile buttons. Especially on a thing that's in my ears and I can't actually see. But they're adjustable in the same Soundcore app I used for my Liberty 2 Pros, so that's a plus. At least I can set them to do what I want them to instead of having to learn a new system every time I buy a pair of buds. I can't speak to the sound-cancelling ability until I try them at work. I work in a blue collar environment with loud machinery (PSA: Never, nevernevernever use earbuds while working around heavy machinery, that's just dangerous. You have to be able to hear your coworkers and machine cues so you can react immediately when something goes wrong. Please stop. Thanks.). The persistent mechanical din cuts into break areas, which are small and also noisy with people and other sounds, and it can be hard for me to really unwind on my breaks. I have other Neurodivergencies, so this is a pretty big deal. Some days I can tune it out, and some days it's a sensory nightmare I can't escape from for 12 hours. I will update when I've had the chance to test these earbuds in this setting. While writing this review, I've noticed that the P20is tend to either be too loud or too soft on certain tracks, especially rock. This isn't bothering me on Pearl Jam, but Disturbed was kinda earsplitting (I still have near-perfect hearing, somehow, so this might not bother you). I tried to make a fine adjustment in my phone, and I don't know if this is a phone thing or an earbud thing. I can usually get better volume tuning out of my computer, so it might just be my phone, but I don't recall having this issue with the Liberty 2 Pros. I've started noticing things I hadn't before on certain tracks, like background vocalizations on Golden Earring's Twilight Zone or subtleties in Depeche Mode's A Question of Lust, so another point for clarity. Wow. I'm reminded that some tracks are meant to be turned up, and have a more muddled nature in their original recordings because they were meant to be disruptive, so I suppose it is what it is. APD is fun. The struggle is real. :/ I need a better budget, but again, for what they are they're getting the job done nicely. I'm not sending them back. When I get better earbuds, I'll keep them as backups. ... show more

  • Awesome For Gaming
Color: Blue
These are so wonderful. I play pubg mobile and the fact they are $30 dollars and you can map the tap feature to play/pause and next songs is awesome. The fact there is an app where you can select a gaming mode is awesome. The gaming mode allows you to really hear footsteps on games like pubg to give you an advantage and it does it where you can tell the direction accurately. I would say for comfort for me, I'd give them a 3/5. I still always prefer over the ear but I can game with these for hours, I think my ears have just gotten used to them so that's nice. Sound quality for the price is a 5 and for phone calls, I would give these a 5/5 for the price. I used to be a truck driver and I'm a real sound snob lol, paying a few hundred for headsets like blue parrot with amazing talking quality cutting out background noise. These do a great job for 30 bucks! Not the most comfortable but a heavy hitter when it comes to great sound, and you ears may take a couple days to get used to them especially if you slightly spin then to secure then more into your ear. If you just place them lightly in, they are extrmeely comfortable, I'm doing the full secure to hear footsteps in video games lol. ... show more

  • Great product at a good price
Color: Blue
After losing my Apple AirPods I had a very hard time justifying spending Apple-level money on replacements, so I looked at other brands. Anker is a brand I was familiar with and trusted, and these seemed like a good price-point for something comparable. The sound quality seems just fine, and they work reliably. A couple of things worth noting: * These are not "Noise Cancelling" devices - I think "Noise Isolating" is the term for sticking something in your ear to the point where no other sound can get in, and they certainly do that, but they do not do any active electronic cancellation. * I have not downloaded or tired the app to manage the devices - I didn't want another separate app on my phone just to manage the equalizer function, and they just work out of the box without out, so I haven't tried it. ... show more

  • Great first pair of wireless earbuds
Color: White
My 10-year-old son wanted to have a cool pair of ear pods, but we didn't want to spend $100+ for something that would likely get lost or end up in the washing machine. He has been very happy with these and wears them several hours a day. Pros: 1. He said they are very comfortable 2. They look "cool" 3. The sound quality is great. 4. Battery life is good Cons: 1. Some of the features don't work well with my son's Kindle Fire. He can pause and play, but not skip forward or backwards. 2. The magnet that holds the earbuds in the case is very strong, so it is a little difficult for a child to get the earpods out of the case. ... show more

  • What more do you need?
Color: White
I think it’s impossible to go wrong with these ear buds. I will never pay a couple of hundred dollars for ear buds as I’m active and no matter how careful I am they will eventually fall out of an ear and be lost forever. For $20 I struggle to see how this product can be viable. They have built in controls and mics for hands free calls. The sound quality is what I would expect from Anker having bought their products before. Excellent all round product that I really can’t fault. ... show more

  • Amazing value option for wireless earbuds!
Color: Blue
Having had Airpods Pro, I can say, these are more comfortable and unlike the Airpods, they reliably charge in the case everytime. Plus, I love the color options. Audio quality is very good for the price, but don't expect it to match Airpods. The controls are programmable, which is very helpful. The main downside of these is they don't switch between devices without a bit of an awkward 5 second unpairing action followed by re-pairing. But again, for the price, I'm not expecting a smooth transition like Airpods would have. These would be best for someone who ONLY uses them with their phone. I like them because they are low cost enough that I can wear them running and biking and not be as scared of them falling out and losing them. ... show more
