Soundboks is incredible quality. I've used their original since it came out for over 5 years and never had issues. Use it in my shed every day with temps up to 100 degrees, dust and high humidity. Its a beast and keeps working llike new. I just bought my first GO and its great, just doesn't have the charger which I bought from Soundboks because the type is critical to keeping battery life and not a 'similar' charger that will ruin it. Quality isn't as powerful as the full size boks, but its half the size, so more portable and fine for inside a house. Lots of base and treble are well balanced. Ok… soundboks may not like this review but I guess I had higher hopes because I was hoping it could out preform my home made speaker 😅 and it did!!!! But not by much…… So this is only encouraging me to redesign mine will all that money and I’ll still be able to call it mine. Also I love having the 7” touch screen with an FM radio it’s kind of what makes mine special ... show more

It is very good, really, only for my taste it needs more bass. I have the JBL Encore Essential which has a small noticeable difference in bass but it is perfect for outdoors.

I love this speaker for playing music on race day (primarily triathlons). The ability to swap the battery for a spare for those 12-hour events playing at full volume is fantastic. It is seriously loud without major distortion. The ability to take out the battery means I can take it with me when flying to race destinations. It's light enough that I can easily carry it 1/2 mile to the perfect spot at the top of a long climb where the competitors need the music most.
