Okay, so a little bit to know, I first had an ION karaoke machine with a 15 inch woofer that cost $300 and lasted almost 2 years till the speaker busted, LOL! It actually was a pretty decent sounding speaker. I decided to try something different and I wanted something louder with a wider frequency response. I tried the S1 Pro Bose first. It didn't come close to what I expected. Next, I purchased the JBL Party box 1000. It was pretty good but just did not fulfill my expectations. Now, on to the SoundBoks Generation 4. It plays loud with great sound and does the same at low volume. It's the BEST out there! Love It! Worth every dollar! Just get it, lol! If you have any questions, please ask, as I will get back to you very soon. I have ordered my second one from their own website and I'm looking forward to paring them. I also will be connecting a Yamaha MG06X mixer so that I can adjust the gain and echo better for our fun singing karaoke, lol! One more important thing, if you want everything this Soundboks Gen 4 can do, please download the app. You will be very pleased! If you want help with the equalizer settings to get everything that this speaker can do, just ask, as I'm happy to help! Just get it! :) ... show more

    • Bass is bad, but overall good speaker
For 2 10" subs I expected better. Don't spend your money on this unless you want little to no bass. Very loud but no bump quality

If you're a bass head, this speaker is not for you. I thought about returning it, but I decided to keep because the highs and mids sound audiophile perfect. The bass specs say 40hz. No way. I'd say 45-50 hz

    • only good to run on battery
this is far more than i expected would buy again if i wanted to spend the money. bass is top notch and volume is way more then you need to anger the neighbors. battery life is awesome. used it for 8 hours and only used 1/4 battery life at 3/4 volume !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Absolutely impressed with this speaker
A speaker that truly delivers. Only problem I had was the tool to pull the grill did not come in the box as advertised but found the Allen wrench and a t-shirt pulls it just fine. Would like the actual tool at some point if sounboks is reading this
