My family had this air mattress for just over 1 year and it developed a seam leak. I reached out to SoundAsleep and they quickly responded with an offer to replace the mattress at no charge and a new one showed up 4 days later! While we did experience a product defect SoundAsleep was quick to replace without question. Customer service like this is rare to find and has made my family a SoundAsleep customer for life! As for the mattress itself the built in features are great! The fill pumps work fast and the automatic firmness pump is quite enough to not wake me up (light sleeper) during the night when running. The added USB port and LED light is a huge plus that I never would have thought of using until now. The material is thick and seems rugged. The seam leak we observed is hard to predict with a product like this but as I said above, SoundAsleep will make it right. Highly recommend! ... show more

I broke my back as a teenager, and do not sleep well on most mattresses. With the adjustable settings and Never Flat pump, this bed is better for me than much more expensive traditional or memory foam. It is well made and works as advertised. After a couple of months the Never Flat pump started making noise and did not keep the mattress inflated. Contacted customer service and received an immediate response. This is a solid air mattress. Love that it continues to fill with air overnight so the mattress doesn't get soggy. We sleep with ear plugs anyway so noise wasn't an issue for us. Used this for a weekend babysitting our nephews and slept very well. Had to call customer service for some help with our mattress and Casey was super nice and wonderful to work with.     • NEEDS REMOVABLE POWER CORD to allow leak repair around pump

I HOPE SOUNDASLEEP READS THIS REVIEW !!!!! :^) After excellent performance for awhile, this airbed began leaking at a point on the left side of the perimeter of the pump. Air leaked out where the solid plastic of the pump control panel meets the soft plastic of the bed material. That "seam" appears to be the Achilles Heel of this product. I found that I could use 3M Extreme Sealing Tape 4411N (bought from amazon for $12.38) to successfully stop the leaking, by carefully applying a short strip of that tape to cover the relevant point of that seam where air leaked out. The taped spot did not leak anymore, BUT, the leak then MOVED to a point just past the tape. So then, I removed the short strip of tape, and applied a longer strip to cover the entire left side of the pump perimeter. Again, the taped area did not leak anymore, BUT the leak MOVED AGAIN, this time to the top side of the pump perimeter. So then I applied sealing tape to the top, and to the bottom, of the pump perimeter. Again, the tape stopped the leaking, BUT the leak moved to the RIGHT SIDE of the pump perimeter, the only side with no sealing tape. Due to the electric power cord exiting the pump and heading out across the right side of the pump perimeter, within millimeters of the pump control panel --- you CANNOT properly apply sealing tape to that RIGHT SIDE of the pump perimeter. The power cord blocks you from applying sealing tape to that side, the RIGHT SIDE. I tried applying sealing tape on the right side ANYWAY, doing the best I could. I covered the right-side points where the power cord is NOT in the way, no problem. Air does not leak from anywhere where I got the tape on properly. It leaks ONLY from where the power cord blocks you from applying sealing tape. If SoundAsleep will make a MINOR CHANGE TO THE DESIGN, i.e., using a REMOVABLE POWER CORD, then it will be a HUGE IMPROVEMENT to their airbeds, because customers will be able to easily unplug the power cord from the airbed pump control panel, in order to properly apply sealing tape to completely stop leaks all the way around the pump control panel. Not only will a removable power cord allow customers to make easy repairs around the pump perimeter, but it will also allow customers to remove the cord so that sheets, etc., will fit on better, and look better. In addition, customers can get removable power cords of different lengths, and different plug orientations, which better suit their own individual situations. For example, some users may need only 18 inches of cord to reach their electric outlet, while other users may need 48 inches or more. Also, some users may want the power cord to go directly downward or upward, or directly leftward, instead of only directly rightward. When buyers can use their own preferred removable power cords, then it will be a much better airbed. I hope that SoundAsleep will see this review and immediately take my suggestion for improvement. It should be a very simple design change to implement, and it will greatly increase customer satisfaction with this airbed. ... show more
