UPDATE 10/19/24: Grandson wanted me to buy another air mattress I was looking at past orders and saw this over a year after I bought it mind you so I emailed the company they emailed me the very next day asking me to call them. I called and told her what happened she said it’s been over a year and you did not buy the warranty but you also did not give us a bad review even after this happened. She said we are going to send you another one free of charge I did not even pay for the shipping. I was doubtful but three days later I received it. This was about four months ago we use it all the time and I’m glad to report it still blows up and when you get up the air goes back in and it is nice and quiet at first I didn’t think it was working because I did not hear it. I’m glad I’m the type of person who does not judge badly because something breaks you should always give someone the benefit of doubt because there is no one who can say everything they do is perfect sometimes you get something with a defect. I would order anything from this company they stand by there products. They have the best customer service I have ever dealt with. We need more companies like this one and I hope they start putting out a lot more products they are a little expensive but worth every penny. Thank you and please do not stop what you do and hope much you care. I absolutely loved this air mattress when air went out it would pump back up it was so comfortable we used it on the weekends when my grand son comes over we like to sleep in the living room because we can keep the tv on all night the first month maybe month and a half it was the best thing ever. Until it wasn’t we got it out on a Friday pumped it up and there was a huge lump right in the middle of it you could not get comfortable because it was so uncomfortable my grandson would not even go on it because it was that bad this was the first time I ever paid over 300 for a air mattress and at first it was totally worth it now I have a air mattress I cannot even use I didn’t even get my moneys worth for it. I’m so disappointed because if the lump did not mysteriously show up we would still be using it. I didn’t even replace it because I’m not trying to waste money again. It has really turned me away from buying pricey items because I cannot afford to throw money away. It would have been a great product if it would have been like it was when I got it.

As a few of the other reviewers, I too had an issue with my queen size mattress. In my case, the secondary pump was making a loud squealing sound, despite the primary pump working just fine and the bed holding air decently well. I knew from my previous purchase that the firmness pump should be nearly silent so I decided to call customer service at the company directly. I spoke to a very pleasant woman named Casey who was able to help me out. I purchased the bed for a road trip and going through the normal Amazon return process would not work. She was very understanding and made an exception to their normal policy to get me squared away. I appreciate the great customer support and understanding, while also looking forward to a great air mattress. My previous experience with this model of mattress allows me to comment on some of the features. The secondary pump, which maintains the level of firmness should not run 24/7, and it should be nearly silent. Perhaps a low rumble when sleeping. I found it to be rather soothing, but if someone was an extremely light sleeper they might need a disable this feature. That being said it has a really good job keeping the mattress pressure exactly where you want it. Overall the mattress is very comfortable and if you want that firm support you can definitely get it to the point where it's uncomfortably firm. Luckily it just takes a twist to the dial and you can bring it down to whatever you enjoy. I must admit that the mattress is quite expensive, but at the same time it's well made, and the customer service is rock solid. The latter has a lot of intrinsic value right off the bat. Great bed -- very comfortable and user friendly, and feels better for my back pain than my new $1,800 coil mattress! I've only had this bed a few weeks, having replaced a competing brand that had served us well for years but had a slow leak and was very low to the ground. I've had an issue with back and hip pain for a few months -- pinched nerve I think -- and I have been trying various options. We ordered a new primary bed once I realized through experimentation that my bed was a significant part of the issue with the pain – when I avoid sleeping in that bed the pain and numbness was dropping from 7/10 to 1/10. I was on our spare air bed after realizing this but the deflation was a problem so I ordered this one seeing good reviews on Amazon and needing a quick fix while waiting for the new coil mattress to come in. I liked the reviews and that it was higher off the ground. I ordered this and it arrived with usual Amazon speed -- two days and it was here, and whoa! It's very well built, has a very neat (and quiet) backup pump that keeps it right at the firmness setting selected 24/7 (and it has three firmness settings -- just set setting, turn it on and it fills and stops automatically). And, I love that it's much higher off the floor than a traditional air mattress -- more like a normal bed. And, most importantly, it feels even better on my back than the new coil mattress (which has now arrived). I've been sleeping solely on this for a couple of weeks and it's very comfortable, seemingly my choice for relatively good comfort and avoiding the back-pain issue. I like it better than our primary coil bed we just paid $1,800 for, which, unfortunately, still causes me back pain. I may be replacing that bed soon, ugh, but nice to know that for now I have this and I am happy and not in pain. I figured all these pluses warrant a good review and five stars, so I’m giving them. I will update if my experience or opinion changes but for now, wow, more than I expected from a backup air mattress… don't hesitate to buy it. P.S. Like any rubber-based manufactured item, it has a slight rubber smell for the first day or two but 1-2 others that have commented complaining about this are unduly sensitive in my opinion. It's not bad even day one and not even noticeable by any person of normal sensitivity after a day or two. If you've been on a Casper - a good, highly rated foam-based mattress - you know what a chemical smell is. That's 10X, or more, than the smell of this for the first week or so.
