This is a great second option to the more expensive boxes from FedEx. The outer cardboard is a little thinner than those but it has plenty of dense foam inside so the laptop will be safe. I used this to ship a sold laptop and it arrived safely without any damage.

A nice durable-feeling box with great foam inserts that are customizable to a variety of laptop sizes. This is purely my mistake but I have a laptop with a 17.3" screen that measures just a teeny bit over 16" in length and it wouldn't fit in this box. If it were 1/4" smaller it would have fit perfectly but no-go here. So please heed the measurements listed in the description and not the one in the main title. Even if your laptop has a 17.3" screen like mine it may not fit this box is the length is 16" or more as the usable length is 16". ... show more
