These are well constructed and perfect for special use. We used these to create Cub Scout memory boxes for a Blue and Gold ceremony and they turned out great! I am using the leftovers for reusable Christmas gift boxes. These could be used for mailing with proper taping, but I think they are best for crafting and special packaging. Dimension is not 12 inches. I have a 12x9x4 mailer box and this measures 1/2 an inch less. It’s a decent product, not sure why the false advertising but know that you’re not getting a 12 inch box. *Update* I really wanted to like these boxes. I would not recommend these for shipping. It was literally torn when I took it out of the box, these should not rip so easily. If you’re just using it for hand delivered gifts they are decent but I wouldn’t dare ship items in these. ... show more
