  • Great value
This soundbar has been a great upgrade from regular TV speakers. The sound is much clearer and fuller, especially for dialogue—you don’t have to constantly adjust the volume during movies or shows anymore. It also adds a nice boost to bass without being overwhelming, which makes everything feel more immersive. Setup was super easy and only took a few minutes. It connected quickly via Bluetooth, and switching between TV and phone audio is seamless. I’ve also used it to play music, and it sounds surprisingly good for its size. The design is sleek and doesn’t take up much space, so it fits nicely under the TV without looking bulky. Overall, it’s a solid option for the price and definitely improves the viewing and listening experience. ... show more

  • Best value for the price!
Extremely easy to setup! Worked on my 16 year old Vizio TV that the internal speakers had died on. I was able to keep my TV! And it sounds better than ever! Definitely recommend for the price!

  • Outstanding product at this price point
Outstanding product at a fantastic price. I am very happy with the sound, size, everything about this. Follow the instructions to select the correct audio output for your TV and it may work with just your TV remote like mine is doing. HDMI Arc is the way to go. Forget about AUX or optical. Took me like 10 minutes to setup and plug in. Music sounds great too. The big black rectangular power box is the only thing I don't like, but it is what it is. I liked it so much, that after receiving on yesterday I went online and bought another one for the 55" tv in the garage. This fills the space with sound and music very nicely. I think it's on sale at 14% off, so if you're thinking about it go for it. Can't go wrong at this price. Works great with HDMI Arc, which lets me control the soundbar and TV with just my Roku remote. ... show more

  • Good quality good price sound bar for tv and turntable.
Just installed - my old stereo system died after 30 years and I wanted a turn table which I got to hook up to a sound bar and also hook up my smart tv. Just did the connection and it works fine great sound and people who have listened when it is turned up to music on my turntable via blue tooth which works fine are impressed by the quality and more by the very reasonable price. Only gripe is I have to use 3 remotes - for sound bar, for tv and for cable and it is sometimes confusing which turns what off. many times I thought everything was turned off only to have the sound bar speak (it talks!) "power on" or connecting to blue tooth. Time will tell but the sound bar was easy to assemble and the sound is good. ... show more

  • Ok for price but not without its issues
Setup was quite easy. You do have to provide your own AAA batteries for the remote which is required to get started - which is rather chintzy in my opinion and unusual for these types of electronics. CONNECTING : I tried all FOUR modes of connection and they do graciously provide the necessary cables to use all the wired methods - 1. Bluetooth (which I found out my TCL Roku TV unfortunately does not support 2. ARC - this uses the bulkier HDMI type cable and for some reason it required the volume to be turned up in the 80%+ level to hear sufficiently not to mention the quality didn’t sound particularly good. But it did at least allow use of the TV remote to change volume level 3. Optical - OK sound but which sadly requires controlling volume with use of the separate sound bar remote controller instead of being able to use your TV remote; 4. The AUX cable, which is the one I ultimately chose. It essentially uses the headphone jack output on the TV but at least this allows use of the normal TV remote to control volume. I have several issues that cause me to not be happy with this unit. 1. Whenever you turn it off and then back on it defaults to Bluetooth mode. That’s fine if you are using a TV that supports the Bluetooth. But If you’re using one of the three other connection modes, which in my case happens to be the AUX mode, then you have to manually reselect that other mode on the sound bar remote each and every time you turn the unit on. Definitely not a fan of that. 2. There are three listening modes - toggled through by repeatedly pushing the music/movie/news button on the soundbar remote. I see no way to determine which of those three modes you are presently using so I can’t tell you which one of the three is best but two out of the three of them sound very tinny to me and only one of them did I find to be satisfactory to use for my every day viewing. 3. There is no apparent way to pair your existing TV remote (or a universal remote or other desired remote) to the sound bar. By using the AUX connection mode I thought I could get away with just leaving the sound bar turned on and using my TV remote for volume control. But I’ve noted there is at least one command on my TCL ROKU TV remote that triggers this sound bar to turn off (but not back ON) Then I have to get out the other remote for the sound bar, turn it back on, and then it comes on in Bluetooth mode instead of the AUX mode that I was using. So no, it’s not convenient at all. Conclusion - produced only “decent” sound quality but certainly better than the TV. This is probably acceptable to most given the low price point. There are concerning Remote control issues, the fact that it defaults back to Bluetooth connection mode each time it is turned on (rather than remembering the mode you were last using),and the inability to use a single remote for your TV and the sound bar are deal killers for me. Oh - and c’mon, provide the two needed AAA batteries for the remote. Personally I would not purchase this product again. ... show more

  • Assistrust Soundbar (FIVE STARS)
Very simple connection. The sound bar coming with the connection cables made setup easy and cost effective. The sound quality is pretty good at price point. I'm using it with a TV out in the garage and did not want to spend a lot of money. I also like that I can use it to stream music from my phone.

  • Easy setup, sturdy construction. Great sound
Set up in minutes using well detailed directions. Tried it out with my iPad and a you tube video. Sounds great. Remote control handles the volume well. Can't wait to use it with my outdoor projector.

  • Sound is fine, especially at the price
I needed to replace my old sound bar for the TV on my boat. This one was about the right length and the reviews were good, but not perfect. I did not want to spend enough to get something with perfect reviews. The soundbar sounds fine. I had my hearing tested recently and it was fine. Im a classical music fan and watch a lot of movies. Im not a hyber critical audiophile but think I would notice poor sound quality. There are only a couple of negatives but neither is a deal breaker for me. First is that they did not provide a template to help you position screws in the wall for mounting the soundbar. Since its on my sailboat I cant just leave it a on a table top. I ended up stretching a piece of making tape across the back of the soundbar (make sure its pareallel to the edge) and poking holes in the tape where the screw hole needed to be. Then I put the tape on the wall, under the TV, and fussed with it until I was satisfied that it was paralled to the bottom edge of the TV, and installed a couple of pan head #6 self tappingn screws where the holes in the tape were. It worked. It would have been helpful if they had provided a paper template that you could tape on the wall to get it straight and know exactly where to place the screws to hand the bar on. Other reviewers had mentioned that when this sound bar turns on it does not return to whatever source you had used last. It always starts in bluetooth mode which is not a problem if that is how you are connecting it to your sound system. I used the optical connection so every time I turn on my TV I have to find the remote for the soundbar and change it to the optical input. I thought I might be able to just leave the soundbar on all the time as a workaround but the sound bar turns off when I use my fire stick remote to turn off the TV. At least the sound bar tellsyou that its in the bluetooth move when its turned on so you are reminded that you have to find the remote and push the button to change the input. I have used the bluetooth function to listen to music off my phone and it works great. Given the sound qualilty and the price I would buy this again. ... show more
