It has been dropped a few times, the cover came off. It we were able to put it back on. I brought this in to my toddler's pre-school for a birthday dance party. For $9, I have no idea how long it will last, but the performance was great for what I wanted it for. It has 3 colored lights - red, green, blue. You can select which color or combinations you want and it has multiple strobe patterns. I love that it's voice activated, and its 'listening' features are very sensitive & discerning. I spoke in normal tone while the tv was running in the background and it pulsed based on my voice only and could pick it up across my kitchen. This sound-activated party light has been a huge hit in our house! I have four young boys, and they love using it to throw mini dance parties in the living room. The lights sync to the music, and it creates such a fun atmosphere — they’ll dance and laugh for ages. We also started using it in the bathroom during bath time, paired with glow sticks and bubbles, and it’s turned into a whole event. The colors reflect off the walls and water, and the kids think it's the coolest thing ever. Makes bath time way more exciting and way less of a struggle!     • Fun for kids but poor functionality
UPDATE: changing my review to a 4 because I neglected to pull out the plastic piece from the remote so that's why it wasn't working. I am able to isolate the blue and green colors now and overall this is a decent product for the price. Still not sure it's grown up enough and would be perfect if it offered a white lights option for a more paired down/elevated vibe. Fun little light but highly limited functionality. Despite having 7 options for light colors, they are basically all the same. I was hoping to isolate the blue and green colors for a party I'm throwing, but despite having that option on the remote, noatter which color pattern chosen, all the colors are active all the time. It's not possible to color match for the vibe of an event, and with all the colors going this reads so low rent. Great maybe for a kids room but not for an adult party unless you want it to look like you vomited random light all over your place. There's gotta be a better option out there.     • My girls LOVE using this during baths! Just get it!!
Okay so to be completely honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this being so inexpensive. I thought maybe the reviews were robots and not real! I took a chance and ordered one. It works so well. My girls plug the Alexa into the bathroom outlet and it synchronizes the lights with the music! I got some glow sticks to put in the actual bath and bath bombs. It was like a rave in the bathroom! They love changing the colors/settings. So far it’s been used 10+ times and still going strong. Very easy to use and makes getting clean a little more exciting for little ones. I liked it so much that I decided to give one as a gift. I have no doubt that she will love it as much as we do. If you are unsure, just go ahead and give it a try!
