I got this for my grandson, so he could go fishing with the "big" boys. It works very well and is of high quality. The drag and cast is comparable to higher priced reels. Looks cool and is smooth to cast and retrieve. I like it and he loves it. We highly recommend it.

Solid reel for the price. Smooth casting and it already comes spooled which is great because my son wants to fish the second we get to the lake lol. It looks really nice too. Just make sure the handle is tightened before using so you don’t lose any pieces. Great for casual freshwater fun with the kids.

I was unaware that the case featured a dinosaur print. It is quite charming for a young child who is just beginning to fish in freshwater. I own several sougayilang reels and rods, all of which are of excellent quality. This reel is pre-spooled with microfilament and is ready for use. It can be adjusted for left or right-handed operation. It casts and retrieves effortlessly and is ideally suited for an 8-year-old. This product is designed for children and is compatible with a child-sized fishing pole. The reel itself is robust and built to endure.

This spincast reel looks like a quality product, but unfortunately, it didn't perform as we had hoped. My son used it for a few fishing trips, and we found that the action isn't very smooth and the retrieve is quite slow. It probably wouldn't be a bad option for simple fishing from a dock, but it wasn't suitable for the trolling and bait casting we were doing. We ultimately ended up switching back to a standard spinning reel.

What I liked Instant readiness: Comes pre‑spooled with monofilament and is truly plug‑and‑play — great for beginners or quick outings. Fast pickup & retrieval: The stainless dual line pickup system grabs slack line quickly, and the 3.9:1 gear ratio returns line at a respectable pace for setting hooks and chasing darting fish. Smooth operation: The 7+1 stainless steel bearings make casts and retrieves feel smooth and responsive. Drag and retrieve are consistent for light to moderate fights. Reversible handle & comfort: Switching from right to left hand is quick and the double‑paddle rubberized handle is comfortable for long sessions.
