Great quality as expected from Sorel. Comfortable fit. I wore them twice in ankle deep snow and a couple of inches of slush and my feet were dry and warm.

Sorell just failed to come up with a good product. The pictures look very different from the actual product. I had Sorell boots in the past and they are good in style and quality. This lacks the comfort and looks both. It looks like they are copying Thursday boot company. They need a good designer.

Waterproofed prior to wearing - leather conditioned. Quick break-in. 160 hours of wear so far an no issues. Fit was perfect.

    • Poor quality...

Left boot had a ridge in the interior heel cap due to poor construction. Very painful to wear. Speed eyelet also broke off after two wears. I returned these. Hopefully I'll get a full refund. Sorel used to make a great boot, not anymore. Don't waste your money.

    • Poor Quality and for $200?

I have been in search of boots with a similar style for quite some time now. I had high expectations for these but they failed to meet them and ultimately were returned. For starters, these boots are extremely light compared to other kinds. Most likely from low weight EVA being used more so than rubber. Not gonna fault them for that. The leather itself is rather stiff/coarse, yet thin and has piping around the top rim of the ankle that just kind of terminates in an unfinished method that wasn't appealing. The pseudo welt looks fine in pictures, but in real life, it looks really crappy. The right heel must have had a defect where it had a void or was missing material, as a walked, it caused my right heel to squish deeper into the sole significantly more on my right side then my left, something I have never experienced with any shoe before. Comparing quality, my $200 thursday captains (same style, different purpose) blows this out of the water. Even my timberlands at half the price of these, feel like they were constructed better. 200 for these is a sick joke, especially since they were made in Vietnam. It should be a quarter of the price for it to match the quality of materials and construction. ... show more

Got the Brown/Wet Sand and was disappointed in the color (much darker than image), but kept it anyway. So far it's intact, very comfortable and looks its price.

Sorel boots are pretty comfortable right out of the box. Wore them during torrential down pour & my feet were dry. I have not tried them in the snow yet, but we’ll see how warm my feet stays. The Negative so far is the boot lace tabs (picture) on left & right boot, fell out after a month of wear. Need to figure who can replace them! ... show more
