Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Pressed Powder worked as well if not better than some of its higher priced counterparts. Before purchasing I went to the Maybelline site to do a shade match since I've never used this brand. For my skin tone, I was recommended 120 Classic Ivory. I initially disagreed with their recommendation but went with it anyway. I figured they're the expert, they probably know best. In the end they were spot on, crazy. So, it comes with a sponge applicator which I did try but I preferred using one of my own brushes. Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Pressed Powder gave me a light, matte finish that didn't feel powdery heavy or tight. It surprised me how little my makeup rubbed off. I mean, it still does, but not near as much as it would with what Ive been using. (Bare Minerals) There was no need to reapply for several hours. It's a very small amount compared to most other similar products. I've only used it twice and used it without any other makeup and I could barely believe how effective it is. It’s no wonder it has great reviews. I do my skincare, put some of my expensive Dior concealer on (it’s the only one that covers my dark under eyes), and apply this powder with a velour puff and bam!
