Assembly is easy except the pieces are not marked with letters so it is easy to put together backwards. You'll know it is backwards if the drawers don't fit. Just make sure the number of rails match on both sides of the middle piece and you're good. It is cute and fairly sturdy for what it is. I love the pastel rainbow colors. It fits a lot of clothes meant for little kids, and it doesn't take up much space. The only suggestion I would give for the manufacturer is to have the adjustable feet a bit longer than they are. My floors are VERY uneven and pretty sloped from the wall (1901 build, lots of foundation settling), so the adjustable feet are helpful, but even with the back ones screwed all the way in and the front ones barely screwed in, I still needed a shim to keep it from wobbling.
