All the parts come wrapped in bubble wrap but there is still paint chipped on parts or would give 5 stars. *It does take up quite a bit of space so be prepared for that. * We had an issue with our first package coming damaged with missing parts. Customer service replied to us within 9 hours, had the problem resolved and parts shipped to us within 3 days. We did only need one part but they sent us a whole new set (cudos to them for that).

This stand is fantastic for sensory swings. It is very sturdy. It came very well packaged. It was very easy to put together. I would recommend this for similar needs, and I'm sure it's fantastic for hammocks. I love that it saved me from drilling into my ceiling!

It was quite easy to put together and just took about fifteen minutes. Easy instructions. It was bigger than I thought it would be but that makes even more sturdy but cuts down on the maneuverability a little and why I gave it a four in that department.

This thing is huge. Please pay attention to the measurements when ordering. You have to unscrew the bolt at the top to open it up and it was really difficult to do so. It squeaks when you swing but my grandson doesn’t seem to mind. He loves it!

We bought this because we got a papasan swing, which is bog and round, shaped like a ball. It takes a full-size papasan cushion, to give you an idea of the size. The place we bought it from was selling it with a standard swing/egg chair stand, and the papasan swing is so big it was resting against the stand. Since the whole point of a swing chair is to swing freely, we opted to look for something different. We bought this hammock chair stand and crossed our fingers. It is rounder than it looks in the picture and gives us plenty of room. The chair can swing freely, it can spin 360 degrees (with room for your legs), and it hasn’t tried to topple over due to being unbalanced like the regular bases. The only downfall is that, to get the sturdiness, it does take up a lot of floor space, so while you may not need to be afraid of tripping over metal braces when getting out of your swing, you may need to be vigilant when walking around it so you don’t stub your toes on it.

Despite being in a box and having bubble wrap around it, a few pieces were badly scratched up. It's just going in our backyard so it's not a big deal, but still disappointing. When it's extended for height, the bar is silver which looks less than awesome. It would have been nice if they were black too. Finally, the spring thing to hook the hammock up only seems to go one way which means our hammock is permanently turned to the side. Kind of annoying. We're purchasing a swivel hook/carabiner to try and correct that. Might want to buy one of those with it if you are planning on using it with a hammock chair.
