When I moved, I no longer had a tree for my hammock swing. This works great. I do wish it was taller but it’s usable for me (5’-3” @ 126lbs) and the kids. It’s too low for my husband who’s 6’-1”. It almost hits the ground. Even for me it is low. I’m used to it hanging higher in my tree and having more room to swing freely. But... no tree means less freedom. I can move this easily when mowing the lawn. It fits on my deck (as shown) and in the winter I’ll put it in our 3 season room or disassemble it. It took very little time to put it together. Instructions were clear. Just wish they had a taller version. This was the tallest I found. ... show more

It holds my son and I just fine (340 lbs together) I mostly swing leisurely but my son will run and jump on me and push us high. It holds up really well. The true test will be time.

The furniture is painted but not for living on an island with salt-spray in the air, always. We are in the process, after 3mos., of sanding and will paint with more rust resistant finish

Bought 2 swing stands Feb. 15. Used them inside until spring arrived and they were great. They’ve been outside for 2 weeks and rust is developing around the base.
