At first, the assembly seemed daunting, but once i laid everything out, and got started it went pretty smoothly. I have assemlbled a LOT of furniture, and will say the instructions for this piece were not among the best. Pictures left a lOT unexplained - but I perservered, and got the first one done in about 3 hours (worked alone). 2nd one took about the same amount of tiime. The end result is beautiful! This piece is def teal - NOT blue. NOTES for assembly: 1) Keep all of the grooved edges on the same side (back of unit). 2) Pay close attention to the numbers stuck on each piece. 2 pieces may look alike, but are meant to be left or right - so numbers will keep that straight. 3) Altho faint, look at the drawing details for orienting pieces. If it shows 2 small dots, consider that important as it relates to holes on the piece that need to align in a certain way. ... show more

I was looking for a chest that added some interest to my bedroom, was a good overall size and not too shallow or deep. The blueish, stressed finish on this piece is certainly an eye catcher and is even prettier live than on the website. It will take some time to assemble (about an hour) with basic tools but an electric screwdriver will come in handy with the nearly 80 screws that need to be installed. The instructions are clear, especially the labeled bags are helpful. My biggest gripe is with the quality. As some others also pointed out, there are cracked ends on the shelves as well as the side panels on many pieces in the box. I was able to mask the damages with glue and crayons as I did not want to deal with a return but the manufacturer must improve the packaging and quality control to ensure the item is delivered without these imperfections. Overall it is a very nice furniture for the price, even with these problems. ... show more

I love the look of this cabinet. Assembly was ok, took about 3 hours, it would help if there were actual words or written directions as you have to just follow pictures but it came together eventually, the bags are labeled which is super helpful!. One door is a bit crooked due to either the screw going into the pre drilled hole crooked or the hole actually being crooked so I have to close the doors together otherwise I can't close one. Not too big a deal... The doors are a bit flimsy but they obviously aren't solid and that's what I like about this piece, the beautiful look of the doors. I would recommend this cabinet, it's very beautiful and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it! ... show more

    • Incredibly cheap materials
We purchased two single door nightstands. First assembly was challenging, not as easy as the advertisement stated. A screw came through the side making a huge chip from the particle board. The second one we assembled was a disaster. Huge pieces of pressed particle board breaking off at the connecting points. 1/2 way assembled and it looks horrible. We’re VERY experienced at furniture assembly. The problem here is the “pressed partial” board is VERY cheap and the preset holes for the screws strip almost immediately. We tried to reach out directly to the seller unsuccessfully. We could return it but then we’d have one damaged one completed and missing the other matching nightstand. So, looks like we have to pay a shop to glue and assemble for us. These cost $150 each. I’m urge caution before buying. The materials are very, very weak. Still considering just boxing up the assembled one and the pieces from the second one and returning both!! What a hassle!! $300 invested in these two nightstands! Very dissatisfied! ... show more

This is a great little cabinet. It was too tall with the legs so I left them off. Also I drilled a little hole in the back for cords. Was able to place all my WI-FI equipment inside. Works great for this purpose so they won’t over heat. Easy to assemble and great quality for the price. Love this!
