I have a queen bed and, while I love the mattress, it's a bit too firm for me. I have arthritis in my shoulders and hip and just wasn't comfortable. Decided to treat myself to all new bedding and searched for a topper or mattress pad that would help. This is IT! Came vacuumed sealed, no odor, shook it out and let it do its rising thing for about 4 hours. I was skeptical because sometimes the pictures aren't the truth. Only this time, they were! While it didn't puff up every square to rounded fullness lol, it came darn close. Put it on and it's super poofy and so, so comfy under the cotton sheets. Fit the 15" mattress easily with elastic all around. We've had it over a month now and it's still as puffy as on day one. It has withstood two adults and two large dogs lounging on it as well as sleeping. Honestly, it's like sinking into a cloud. I think it's taken my bed, and my sleep, to a whole new level. (For what it's worth, I'm 110 lbs with a hubby twice my size and both dogs are over 70 lbs. There's been NO flattening of this mattress pad at ALL) Definitely worth the price and highly recommend. ... show more

The product arrived very quickly in twice vacuum sealed bag. Upon opening, I placed it on the bed to come to room temperature before putting it in the dryer on high heat for about 20 minutes. It was fluffy and noticeably heavier than the tradition mattress cover. Upon initial inspection the topper was less fluffy filled than pictured with the ad. The air space in each tufted section is more than I expected. I have a California King custom mattress and the King size specifications are more than adequate to cover it. I don't mind that it hangs over the sides a bit because of the custom size of my mattress. I slept for two three nights with the fluffiest side up on the topper. While there is no crinkle sound apparent when moving, the flannel sheets I have on the bed slid around terribly. No amount of adjustment kept them in place. That was annoying every morning having to adjust when making the bed, Sleeping wasn't disrupted because of it however. I flipped the topper over the fourth night. The sheet slippage was not evident after doing so. They stayed in place. There is a slight noticeable difference with comfort after flipping it over. It's not as cushiony. All in all, for the price (I paid just over $50 at the time, it was on sale.) this mattress topper is better than the average mattress pad, significantly less cushiony than that you might expect on a fancy hotel bed, but adequate enough to reduce pressure point pain I was experiencing with my mattress. ... show more

Did not expect it to be as comfy as it is. It is also cool to the touch, just feels right on a bed that was just comfortable. Now it's luxurious. It comes very tightly bundled, I detected no off-gas odor. I did put it in the dryer on sanitize and then hung it out to air on a sunny and breezy day.     • Queen Size Does Not Fit Normal Front-Load Washer

We love this topper, but the second time in a regular/slightly larger front-load washer, the skirt around the topper was shredded. It fit in fine when I first opened it, but with time and more fluff, it became too large to fit and was practically ruined. If you have a front-load washer, it will not wash well or at all. I have a plush queen size mattress but this brought my comfort to a new level. I sleep much better. It looks thinner then the photos but its like a down comforter with a little more firmness . It washed well . Don't fry it in the dryer . Light tumble w/e. But I can't stress enough the added comfort it gave me . I have been ignoring mattress pads and deemed them useless. I was wrong.
