Just received order today; free 2 day shipping but it took 8 days to get here. Nevertheless, it made it! It was bought for my small framed 59 y/o arthritic body w/degerative disc disease from my neck to low back/sacrum w/a twisted tail-bone. May it help! I laid it out to air it out about 30 minutes before making the bed. SOOO PUFFY!!! Clean w/no wrinkles. U-shaped deep pockets fit perfectly under my queen mattress and it did not cause a problem with my deep pocket sheets (except the sides of sheets, but not at the corners where its important, it won't come up during sleep). Very thick padding! My husband and I both laid on top of it briefly after we made the bed, as it's 4:00 p.m., I'll update after we've slept on it. But now I have a more fluffy, appealing, softer and comfortable bed that I have a feeling we're not gonna want to get out of. Plus, this thick new mattress pad is laying on top of my Pillow Top mattress, brand new 800 count buttery cotton sheets, 4 new fluffy pillows, and my winter super plush down feather-like comforter on top it all! My husband and I immediately felt the difference with the 3 inch thick mattress pad on top my pillow top mattress. The product arrived very quickly in twice vacuum sealed bag. Upon opening, I placed it on the bed to come to room temperature before putting it in the dryer on high heat for about 20 minutes. It was fluffy and noticeably heavier than the tradition mattress cover. Upon initial inspection the topper was less fluffy filled than pictured with the ad. The air space in each tufted section is more than I expected. I have a California King custom mattress and the King size specifications are more than adequate to cover it. I don't mind that it hangs over the sides a bit because of the custom size of my mattress. I slept for two three nights with the fluffiest side up on the topper. While there is no crinkle sound apparent when moving, the flannel sheets I have on the bed slid around terribly. No amount of adjustment kept them in place. That was annoying every morning having to adjust when making the bed, Sleeping wasn't disrupted because of it however. I flipped the topper over the fourth night. The sheet slippage was not evident after doing so. They stayed in place. There is a slight noticeable difference with comfort after flipping it over. It's not as cushiony. All in all, for the price (I paid just over $50 at the time, it was on sale.) this mattress topper is better than the average mattress pad, significantly less cushiony than that you might expect on a fancy hotel bed, but adequate enough to reduce pressure point pain I was experiencing with my mattress. ... show more

The only thing I donโ€™t like is how dark it is. However if it made a world of difference on my bed. My mattress was to firm. I purchased this mattress topper and it made my bed so much more comfortable. My husband would complain that my bed made his shoulders hurt. And it would make my hips hurt.
