No one will mistake the Sony ZX110 Headphones for a top-of-the-line set of headphones, but they are a good inexpensive, convenient set for casual listening and traveling. The earpieces are on the small side, so taking time to properly adjust the fit is important. If this is not done, they can become uncomfortable quickly. If it is done carefully, they will provide long-term enjoyment. The sound quality is good enough for a wide range of musical styles. The bass is strong without being intrusive or overpowering, the mid ranges are clear with most instruments distinct, and the upper pitches sound well with less ringing or tinniness than with many more expensive headsets. Ear-to-ear sound separation is as good as the recording allows while still blending well where appropriate. I buy these 2 or 3 at a time for my granddaughter. They aren't $100 headphones by a mile. However for the price, they are perfect for kids and teens. Cheap enough to replace them when they break them, which they always seem to do no matter how much you spend.

Don't like Bluetooth. This is my fourth purchase of these headphones. The fourth because I forget they're on my head when I get up and, so, jerk the plug from its socket on my PC. Of course you want to hear every little whisper, and these headphones deliver better sound than Bluetooth and none of the current exterior speakers come close to matching the performance of these headphones--no buzzing, cracking, et cetera. Sony Engineering: Once again I bow to thee. I own two top notch audiophile headphones. My 4 star rating is in absolute terms, sizing these up against my gold standards. How in the world Sony can produce this high level sound quality in such a comfortable design AT THIS PRICE POINT blows me away! I ordered these cheapies for my metal detector but when they arrived and I plugged these into my PC to test them on Fleetwood Mac, I was totally surprised not only by the sound quality but even more so by the comfort.
